Hi, my name is Philomena! You can also call me the beautiful one… because look at me, I’m flawless! I am a petite gorgeous long haired spiced tabby with a very sweet personality. At first I can be a little shy, but I love people and getting petted once you start. You can often find me up on my cat tree gazing at everything around my sanctuary. I love treats - both squeezy and crunchy. The volunteers believe treats will greatly help me come out of my shell in my new home. I am great with other cats and would prefer to go to a home with others. I have excellent litter box habits. I can’t wait to find my perfect family that understands it may take me a while to adjust at first. Come meet me any day between 1-5pm to see if I’m meant to be in your family! I am fully vetted: spayed, FIV&FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor only home and as with all cats - absolutely no declawing. Hi, my name is Naz Reid! I am a striking long haired tabby kitten that’s looking for my perfect family. I finally broke through my comfort zone and love attention! I might be shy at first with new people, but eventually I will love you just as much as I love my foster family. I also constantly rub up on my foster families legs, love getting attention from them, and even sitting on their lap. I love to play with my siblings and hope to go home with one of them. Rosie is a beautiful cat that deserves a loving home. We got her when she was 6 months old, she is now 6. She has always been an indoor cat. We did have an older cat that needed some warming up to at first but in the end they were best friends, he is sadly no longer with us. She has had some habits of scratching around stairs but seems to be fixed when she has a cat stand, extra bonus if it provides a place for her to sleep. Since getting her we have added two kiddos to the mix. She’s never been mean to them but she doesn’t come around anymore, we feel she deserves more love than we can give her right now. I do think she’d be ok with older kids. To add, she is not declawed. The only thing that matters is that she goes to a good home, somewhere she can receive a lot of love, scratches, treats, toys, and maybe find a new best friend.

I`m known as Forrest Gump, an orange tabby male, one of the Gump family. We came to Animal Ark after being removed from a home with too many cats. My foster described me as a lovebug, sweet and concerned about everyone, humans and animals alike. I`m a snuggler and will ask for pets. I can be more of an observer and am not as adventurous as my brother. I`ve been around dogs, other cats, and humans of all ages. I can`t go to a home with children under the age of five years old. It would be great if I could go home with another kitten, or to a new home with a friendly, playful resident cat.

I`m Shiloh, a five-year-old long-haired brown tabby female who was brought to Animal Ark when a kind individual found me. No one claimed me, and I didn`t have a microchip, so I spent some time at the shelter until staff realized that I was expecting kittens. Staff found me to be sweet and affectionate. Soon I was off to a wonderful foster home, where I gave birth to seven kittens. My mom duties are now behind me, and I`m looking for a home where I can be pampered and carefree. I cannot live with other cats or dogs; it is unknown if I can live with children. Any introductions would have to be gradual. Plan to come meet me if you are ready to help me start my next adventure!

I was found near a local business, no identification. After kind folks realized that I was homeless, I secured a spot at Animal Ark. I`m looking for a new home where I can be treasured like the petite princess I was meant to be. Staff and volunteers have found me to be very sweet, outgoing, and affectionate. I did test positive for feline leukemia, a common virus that effects about 2% of the U.S. cat population. It is not transmittable to humans or species other than cats. Staff will be glad to answer any questions. If a mini house panther sounds appealing, please come to the shelter to meet me!
