Hello darlings, my name is Miss Tuffsy. People sometimes smile when they hear my name, and it suits me more than you might think. I’m called Miss Tuffsy not because I’m rough or bold, but because I have a quiet kind of strength. I may be shy at first, but it takes courage to open your heart, and I do that beautifully once I feel safe. I’m a gorgeous long-haired black cat with stunning amber eyes and an absolutely adorable face (so I’m told). I can be a little head-shy in the beginning, but I truly enjoy being petted. Once I get to know you, I soak up affection and show my sweet, gentle side. I love other cats and feel happiest lounging in comfy cat beds or relaxing up high on a cat tree. You’ll often find me stretched out, enjoying a peaceful moment, but I do enjoy playtime too when the mood strikes. I’m looking for a patient, understanding family who will let me warm up at my own pace and appreciate the soft, loving soul beneath my shy exterior. If you do, I promise I’m worth the wait. You can come meet me any day between 1–5 PM, even on holidays, at our sanctuary. I’ll be the elegant black cat lounging gracefully… quietly showing just how strong and sweet Miss Tuffsy really is. I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat. I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing. My name is Nina, and my story started with a bit of heartbreak. My siblings and I were left behind in an empty apartment when our owner moved away. We didn’t understand what was happening — only that the world suddenly felt too big and too quiet. Thankfully, the building manager found us and reached out to Animal Ark, and that’s how we ended up here: safe, warm, and finally able to breathe again. I’m still very much a kitten, which means I’m learning how to trust the world one gentle moment at a time. I can be shy at first, but once I feel secure, my curiosity and sweetness start to peek through. I’m a female long-haired beauty with grey and white fur, and yes… I know I’m a bit of a stunner. Because I’m still building my confidence, I need a home without children under five. And like all kittens adopted from Animal Ark, I’ll need a feline friend — either one of my own siblings or a playful resident cat who can help me feel brave. I currently share my space with Neo and Trinity, who might be my siblings, and we comfort each other in ways only kittens who’ve been through the same thing can. We don’t know much about our past with dogs or children, but slow, thoughtful introductions can work wonders. What we do know is that we’re ready — ready for love, for stability, and for the next chapter in our nine lives. Come meet us. You might be the person who turns our story into something beautiful.
