Story
Hello, My name is Cornelius. I am a special boy looking for some special people to help me live my best life. I came to OFOSA injured and incontinent from that injury. I have a limp but I am mobile and love to climb but do need to wear diapers. You can see me in some of my cute diapers in my pictures. I only have a stub left of my tail that might make me look even cuter, but I don't care, I can't feel it anyway. I love people and love playing. I don't like when people are trying to do something to me while I am trying to play and get pet, such as put on my diaper, bathe me, or trim my nails. But, I am doing great with getting distracted with a treat while getting my diaper put on. I am a very busy young man so as long as you give me enough playtime I will also sit next to you for a petting session. If you pet my head I will be your best friend. And I am a bit of a goofball so will make you laugh often. Do you like big cats? Perfect, I am about 13 pounds.Do you like to laugh? I can certainly make that happen. I am a goofball.Do you like cats with lots of fur? Great, I have very fluffy paws and a cute poof of hair on my tail as well as plenty of other soft, thick fur to pet.Do you hate cleaning litter boxes? Well, I don't need one. You will have to change my diapers though.Do you like to dress up cats? Since I wear diapers, you can get my washable diapers is so many different colors and designs.Cats: Yes, but I kinda bug other cats sometimes, so looking for young playful cats like me to live with.Dogs: Probably notKids: Older or adult onlySpecial: Incontinent. Wears diapers when free roaming. Has a slight limp but very mobile. Needs regular sanitary trims of groin area due to long fur and being incontinent.

Story
This is sweet Truffles, a fluffy beautiful girl. She has come out of her shell so much in the 4 months we have cared for her. She LOVES attention and affection. Loves to be brushed and rolls over so we can scratch her belly. She's not a huge fan of being picked up yet but longs to be near people. She would probably love a playmate cat but could be solo also. She is not afraid of our dog. Do you have room in your heart for this big beautiful love??Cats: YesDogs: unsure Kids: older or adult onlyMedical: She has pillow paw (aka Feline plasma cell pododermatitis (PCP)), so she may need medication if she has a flair up. She is currently in remission.

Story
Isabel was adopted from the Humane Society as a kitten and rehomed at ten years to me. She has been a very sweet and loving cat in the three years I’ve had her. She likes to cuddle at night or sit beside me on the couch when I’m being quiet.  She was initially shy and reserved but has become less so as time goes on. On occasion she she avoids the litter box which I think is due to being in a household with two other cats. I’m using a pheromone diffuser and she seems to be responding to that. I took her to the vet and she doesn’t have a medical problem. If you have a quiet home where she could be queen and your one-and-only special lady then she would be happier. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 5, 2024, 9:31 pm

Owen has been an indoor cat all of his life. Owen can be playful at times. But he’s a mostly chill cat. Definitely an affectionate cat and will greet you when you get home and rub up against you.     Owen loves sitting in windows and looking outside but he also sleeps a fair amount. I’d say he probably sleeps 15-18 hours per day. He is timid around new people though prefer to have things quiet. Not a fan of loud people or startling noises. Owen would do best in a quiet home with no other pets, or any children.  Indoor only home.  Owen is in Tigard and his adoption fee is $50.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Our sweet Roo needs a new home. I adopted him from Cat Adoption as a kitten 5 years ago. Unfortunately, I’m going through a separation and had to downsize from a home to a one bathroom apartment. It’s not an ideal situation to have a 2 year old and kitty litter in the same space.   Roo is an easy going, sleepy indoor only cat. I’m desperate for him to have a loving and caring home. He’s sweet and loves pets (on his terms) and was raised with a golden retriever and has been around my baby with no problem. He’s great with other dogs and children. He's up to date on vaccines.   I just bought brand new kitty litter box, cat tree, scratching post, toys and food. He has a carrier and food bowls. He just needs a new home.  Roo's rehoming fee is $40 and he is an indoor only cat.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Meow!! I'm a high energy, hyper friendly cat named Nala! I'm talkative and I love attention! I'm super fluffy but I currently am missing my fur pants since it seems like I'm allergic to some foods and will overgroom myself. I'm on a hypoallergenic diet and that is seeming to help. A cat in my previous home was picking on me and here in the shelter it looks like I really don't want to share space with cats. I would love to be your one and only sweetheart! I can get overstimulated if I see other cats or get stressed so a home with very young children would not be best for me. My foster mom reports I love to cuddle and I am a lap sitter! I'm a magnet cat. I like to sleep on her pillow by her head at night.I love feather toys and I have a lot of energy. I'm not very mischievous and I leave house plants alone. I like perching high and watching out windows.I'm in a foster home so if you woudl like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.My estimated birthdate is 4/1/2021.

Story
I adopted Chaz and his brother Nick back in 2016. I am the sole owner of both cats. The lone reason I am rehoming both boys is that my health is declining due to a worsening chronic condition. I am seeking someone who wants to adopt one or both boys to add equal measures of love and high spirits to their home. Chaz is a love bug. He will soak up all the attention you provide him. Chaz’s favorite toy is “Da Bird” and he lets you know that it is play time by seeking out the closet where I store it. That said, any object that should find its way to the floor will become his “new favorite.” Chaz is still frisky and dynamic like a kitten. Yet when my nephews visit me, Chaz likes sitting on the youngest’s lap as the two play video games. He is happy being in the middle of all the things. Please consider taking them both because they bring out the best in each other.

I am seeking someone who wants to adopt one or both boys to add equal measures of love and high spirits to their home. Nick is sly, aloof and on the hunt for his next bit of entertainment. His definition of "entertainment" may be a little peculiar for a feline: This is a cat who likes to sit in the kitchen sink. Nick has a cat lounger in my home office and is quite content to spend his days lazing about will I work to support his lifestyle. Nonetheless, he will seek out attention and purrs like a Mack truck. He has pretensions of being a lap cat at 18 pounds, so there is no need for a weighted blanket. He's a big mush otherwise. Please consider taking them both because they bring out the best in each other.
