He’s a shy boy who takes a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe he loves being near his people and will even lead you back to his favorite cozy spot so you can spend time with him.Stanley would do best in a calm, peaceful home with a consistent routine. Because he’s a bit timid, he’s looking for a home without young kids or rambunctious dogs. A quiet household where someone is around often like someone who works from home would be wonderful for him, though it’s not required. He just really enjoys having a human nearby.He is currently being slowly introduced to other cats, so his compatibility is still unknown. He has shown curiosity and playfulness under the door without hissing or growling, which is a promising sign, but proper slow introductions will be needed.With patience, love, and a quiet environment, Stanley has so much potential to blossom into a devoted companion. We rescued Chanel in 2010. We were told that she was most likely going to be put down had she not been adopted within a week since there was a surplus of animals at the shelter. We have felt so lucky that she felt instantly at home with us and has been such a blessing to have around. At the time, she had a big brother cat named Coco, but we lost him shortly after Chanel came to us. She is very “motherly” to everyone. She is an indoor cat and does love to follow me around. My Chanu has always been there for me throughout my bad pain days; so patient and loving. She has also been a trooper and acclimated to her new environment quickly when it came to moving from one place to another with me. She is still active and will jump up on the bed to sleep with me. She loves sitting on the window sill and staring out. She divides her cat nap times equally between my room, my parents’ room, and my dad’s office.

Brimley is a 10-year-old spayed domestic longhair with a history of gastrointestinal concerns. She underwent laboratory testing and imaging in December 2025 to further evaluate her symptoms, and an abdominal ultrasound was planned to help identify any underlying cause. Overall, her condition has been monitored closely, with care focused on understanding and managing the underlying GI issues. Playful, affectionate and very well behaved otherwise. Only reading I’m listing her is because I can’t keep up with her medical expenses.
