Story
Meet Fluff along with his brother, Bunny – A Purrfect Pair of Gentle Growing Boys. Looking for a double dose of fluff and fun? Fluff and Bunny are two handsome, long-haired bonded brothers who are still learning to love and trust, but are already pros at toy-chasing, window-watching, and bringing quiet joy to their foster home. These boys currently reside in their foster mom’s home office, sharing space with their kitten mentor, Dewey. While Dewey handles nap duty in the office chair, Fluff and Bunny keep themselves busy with tag-team tunnel chases and birdwatching marathons on “cat TV.” Fluff is the braver brother—curious, observant, and often the first to approach. He’ll perch below your desk with bright, wondering eyes or sit sweetly at your feet as if asking, “Is it treat time yet?” Bunny is more reserved—a quiet shadow who lets his brother take the lead. He watches the world from a safe distance, slowly soaking in trust one blink at a time. He’s not quite ready for cuddles, but he’s getting closer every day.  While they aren’t lap cats (yet!), Fluff and Bunny have made steady progress in foster care. With patience, consistency, and a peaceful environment, they’ll continue to blossom and may someday become affectionate, loyal companions. They love: Cat trees and cozy cubbies; Feather toys, catnip plushies, lickable treats, and ribbon chases; Watching birds and squirrels from a sunny window; Each other (they are a bonded pair!); The gentle guidance of a confident cat companion (like Dewey!)—though they’re also ready to run a castle of their own. They would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home with adopters who understand that building trust takes time—and that love is sometimes quiet at first. Fluff and Bunny must be adopted together. If you’re looking for two soft, silly souls to grow with, these brothers are ready to start their next chapter—with a little purr-sistence and a lot of love. He has all his vetting, including being neutered, rabies, vaccinations, preventative flea & dewormer, and the siblings are combo tested. Want to meet Fluff, the gorgeous puff of a kitty? Fill out out an app to schedule a Meet & Greet. There is no obligation, it just starts the conversation.  Approx DOB 10/13/24 Interested in one of our cats/dogs? Story
Please text 214 621 1139 if you wish to get a Meet and Greet form for this pet. What is there to say about Cashmere? With such a gorgeous coat and those beguiling golden eyes, this is one stunningly beautiful kitty. Cashmere has a coat that is as soft as its namesake. Her fur coat is actually double coated. She has one of the thickest, plushiest fur coats we have seen to date. Our lovely girl is strong-willed, vocal, independent and highly active. Despite her pouffiness, we have seen this girl leaped 5 ft into the air with grace and agility. Torties are highly affectionate and when they find the right owner, they will give all their devotion to that person. Our Cashmere came into the foster care with a loving companion, the hunky Odin, a stunningly marked snowshoe Siamese male with the gentlest attitude. Cashmere often shows him who's the boss in the relationship by grooming him regularly to let him know that she's the dominant one in the duo. Good thing, Odin is one laid-back kitty who happily enjoys being lavished with attention from the beauteous Cashmere.

MUST ADOPT TOGETHER WITH HIS MELLOW LIFELONG BEST FRIEND COMFORT. QUIET, TIMID TEDDY BEAR LOOKING FOR SWEET PEOPLE TO ADORE IN A FAIRLY CALM HOME. SWEET TALK AND SOFT PETS MAKES HIM YOUR BUDDY, SO BEST WITH GENTLE OLDER KIDS, TODDLERS MAY MAKE HIM NERVOUS. REQUIRES SOME BRUSHING. ONLY LIKES COMFORT, NO OTHER CATS. I`m quite an impressive guy to look at! Some have called me gorgeous, but actually I`m a little insecure. I`m much more confident when I see my brother Comfort in the room, and I spend a lot of time near him. I feel best in calm and easy going surroundings. My favorite place here is sitting up high, lounging on a desk. I also like laying in the bed under it sometimes. I`m careful meeting people, but I`m willing to give you a chance right away. All you have to do is offer your hand and pet my head a few times, and you`ve got my attention! I`ll come on over to visit with you. In a couple of minutes, I`ll think of you as my friend and start to love you back. When it`s quiet I come out and explore. I sometimes stop and watch, or play a with the electronic toys when they`re moving. My favorite is the toy moving under a sheet with the fluttering butterfly on top from Amazon. I`ll also play with the peekaboo toy with the butterfly flying on top too. I`ll often go sit inside the tunnel. I like to stand to look out the window, sometimes there are birds! I spend a lot of time sitting up high and love climbing, so having a sturdy cat tree with large shelves by the window would be pure heaven! Having a cushy mat or a bed with high sides on the floor, and thick soft blankets on the furniture are things I enjoy. I can lay on top, or under my blanket, depending how I feel. That way you`ll know where to find me. I might spend time under a chair or coffee table to relax. Encourage me to play to build my confidence. Let`s try our wand toys often and start having fun together It shouldn`t be too long before you see me proudly strutting around the house feeling just fine about it, because I know I`m safe and loved again. Don`t forget to give me 6-8 treats a time or two everyday to make me feel special! Everyday I ask someone to turn on the faucet so I can drink. I will probably like having a water fountain! I may be large and heavy to hold and cuddle, but I`m extremely easy to love and will enjoy all of my time with you! You will feel special too because you know I feel at home and love you so much !

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Part of a bonded trio! Whiskey and his siblings, Skye & Peychaud, are waiting for their forever home! They were definitely someone’s pets at one time, but for some unknown reason, they were dumped and left to fend for themselves off of a busy highway. Thankfully, we were able to help and got them inside before anything worse happened. All 3 kitties have adjusted well to being indoors only. Whiskey is very sweet, but does like to give "love bites" and has a penchant for cords/cables so those need to be wrapped up. He has excellent litter box manners and uses a scratching post well. All three kitties are great with other cats and are tolerant of dogs. The trio needs a quiet home, without small children.  If you’re interested in meeting this sweet and beautiful trio, please fill out an application on NTCR’s website.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
