My name is SABLE and my name perfectly describes me: Intelligent, fiercely independent and elegantly beautiful. I'm a sassy, long-haired black kitten – and I know I’m a beauty!   Sable had a hard start in life – her young feral mother had too many babies to be able to adequately feed them. Sable is a quick learner and found that running to the front of the milk bar means first pass at food.   In her foster home, being first in line means extra petting! Sable likes attention and turns on the purrs when you pick her up. Her foster learned she is a curious mensa-kitty, which also translates (for her) into being an elite “cat burglar”.  Sable has been able to unlock her Catio multiple times - so she and her friends can explore.  Sable loves wand toys! Sable would do best with a patient family who understands her intelligence.  She has not been around dogs or children.Interested in one of our cats/dogs? Meet Beauty, a chill kitten who loves relaxing and cuddling. He is a long haired black kitten with a secret! Beauty has a small patch of silver fur on his belly.   Even though Beauty had a rough start to life – living in a feral colony with lots of other cats, having to scramble for food and shelter – he is well adjusted to living indoors. Bella is a sweet, medium to long haired beauty with stunning green eyes. She is very affectionate and loves attention.  She loves pets and does a cute little dance when she's getting loved on. Bella was a "feral" who we quickly realized was rather sweet and eager for human interaction. She gets along with most cats but definately prefers males over females.  She does not mind calm dogs but prefers the ones who are overly intersted in her stay away.  Bella is kid friendly. Bella is fully vetted.  She is FIV+ Concerned about adopting an FIV+ CAT? DON'T BE! FIV+ cats can have the same life expectancy as uninfected cats as long as they are kept healthy. A good diet and keeping your cat indoors are the best ways to keep your cat's immune system strong and your cat healthy! FIV+ cats CAN live with other cats! FIV is only transmitted to other CATS through deep puncture wounds. (Usually through mating) As long as everyone is sterilized, happy and get along, there is no concern of infecting other cats in the home. FIV only infects cats. It cannot be transmitted to other species pets or humans. They love just as hard as any other cat! Panther is the sweetest boy looking for a forever home. We recently had a baby that is allergic and are having to re-home him. He is great with kids and other cats and loves to cuddle.
