Because of the overpopulation and high kill rate of shelter dogs in our area we are trying to find our dogs good homes in other areas. Please contact us for transport information. Yvette is such a nice compact little shepherd girl who is almost 3yrs old and weighs 60 pounds. She has been waiting awhile for a family and her friend we rescued with her has been adopted leaving Yvette alone and waiting. She is gentle and playful with other dogs the same size as her in her playgroup. She likes toys, scampering and bowing around the play yard and is great in the car and on leash. She still has puppy energy and may play a little to hard to be with really small dogs and she doesn't care for kitties. For a family this dog has an amazing personality and does her best to mind and please. Yvette could play ball from sunrise till bedtime and never tires of her favorite toy. She like water and on hot days can be seen splashing contentedly in her kiddie pool. The beach lake or river would be her idea of Heaven. Meet Roxy! Roxy is a super sweet, gorgeous shepherd mix dog who is waiting for a forever home. Roxy has been with us since she was only a few months old. She is super athletic, affectionate, and protective. Roxy would do best in a home with adults who can continue to train her and work on building her trust with strangers. She would also be great in a home with other medium-large sized dogs when properly introduced. Roxy does have a high prey drive and would not do well with small dogs or cats.
