Story
Stanley was a foster fail who was adopted in January 2025. We were intrigued by his one blue eye and one brown eye and his endearing name! His adoption agency did his doggy DNA which showed him to be almost 50-50 pit/husky. (I can relay that info to you if you are interested.) He is approximately 5 years old and still has a lot of spunk! He never really hit it off with our other dog, a Shepsky, named Sky. Sky has an overbite and can't open his mouth completely. This makes it difficult for Stanley to play with him successfully and he often bullies him by barking at him. Stanley has been a joyful success at "fathering" a series of puppies that we have fostered in the last 10 months. He loves to play and would do well with a family with other dogs. His original foster mom had a little girl that played with him well. My "soul dog" Harvey, who died of cancer, was found on this site. I sincerely believe it helps to know more about a dog's history from his current owners before adopting!

Luna is 7 ish she lived in a very caring home since she was a puppy my son got her from my daughters liter. Unfortunate circumstances. He is un able to take her.. very good girl lazy and speaks her own language she currently in an empty home alone she had human contact everyday until about 2 mos ago now I go feed her 2 times a day give her as much attention as I can then shut the house back up.. so the house is going to up for rent approx mid Feb - March or possible on the market I need a loving caring home for her as my son is now un able to care for her no longer.. please if anyone is interested I can meet you for a meeting Tia

Meet the fantastic Cooper! This guy is a short stack of appreciation. He is only about 55 pounds and on the smaller side for a male GSD. What does he appreciate, you may ask? Being away from the shelter of course and in a home with friends to play with, people to pet him, and a cozy bed to sleep on each night. Cooper was pulled from the Stockton Shelter in mid-July. That place was stressing him out! He needed time, structure and some confident dog and people companions in his life to help him decompress. He also needed to be neutered and to get rest during his recovery time. What helped Cooper move into the new chapter of his life: Short walks through the neighborhood. A patient and confident person. A playful pup friend. A predictable and structured routine. Love and understanding. Cooper tends to have some environmental anxiety but using the recipe above this guy will reward you with companionship, couch potato vibes, goofy antics, silly zoomies, and the softest sweetest eyes to stare into. Hazel is a German Shepherd mix, approx. 4.5 years old. Her story is one of resilience and love. Hazel was abandoned last July by her owner when he moved to Texas. Instead of trying to find a home, he opted to dump her in the country. Fortunately, Lana, a kind Samaritan, found her, took her in, and has been caring for her ever since. Despite her past, Hazel remains a sweet and affectionate girl who loves giving kisses and wagging her tail to everyone she meets. Hazel considers everyone her friend! Hazel travels well in a car and enjoys walks, although she is learning leash manners. She is a quick study and would benefit from additional training. She is treat-motivated and takes treats very gently, which makes her a joy to work with. She is also very mellow and well-behaved indoors. Unfortunately, Hazel and Lana’s resident rescue female German Shepherd do not get along, so Hazel would do best as an only dog or could do well with a male companion. However, Hazel prefers not to live with kitties. If you have been looking for a wonderful, loyal, and loving companion who will be a gentle presence in your home, Hazel could be the perfect match.
