Story
Our dog's name is Charlie and he's now 2 yrs old. Charlie is a pitsky (part pit/part husky) and a very loving, happy, healthy dog. He loves attention and enjoys walks and playtime. Charlie is neutered and house-trained too. We basically inherited Charlie from a family member who couldn't take care of him and thought we would keep him until we could find him another good home. Although Charlie is a big dog, he's a kind dog and loves to love on people. We're hoping his new owner will be someone who will be good to him too and can spend time and energy with Charlie, as well as give him a bit more obedience training.

Story
Blu joined a family when she was just a puppy. Five years later they dumped her at East Valley Animal Shelter for reasons unknown. Because of her breed and being owner surrendered, she was scheduled to be euthanized and was saved within hours by a wonderful couple - however, their 2 small senior dogs don't get along with Blu, so we are trying to find a perfect home for this sweet gentle girl. Note: Blu was never socialized by the family and will require some training when she encounters other dogs on leash. This is NOT aggressive behavior. It's a socialization issue that can be fixed. Blu is a 5-year-old female, approx. 50 lbs. She is well behaved, even tempered, non-aggressive, non-destructive, very affectionate, loves to play and walk, harness/leash trained, rides in car, eats well/loves treats, potty trained, responds to "sit" and "paw". And adores belly rubs. At times she nuzzles herself real close and looks up with those gorgeous blue and brown eyes! She is amazing.

Story
Hi everyone! I found this super sweet mama dog who looks like she just gave birth at my doorstep. A lot of pets have been getting dumped in my neighborhood. I took her to the vet, she is healthy but no chip was found. I've alerted animal control and have been posting online in case she has a family that is looking for her. However, I do believe she was dumped as she is one of many dogs that have been found wandering the neighborhood. I have been housing her and giving her the best life as I can give her temporarily, as I don't want her to be stuck and sad at the shelter (and possibly euthanized). She is a very sweet girl and I believe she was used for her babies then dumped. If anyone is looking to adopt this angel girl please let me know. She is truly one of the sweetest pups I have ever met, and she deserves so much more. Located in Orange County, CA!

Story
Rummi is a 3 yr old soon to be 4 yr old female. She does get along with other dogs and cats but would do best as the only pet as she likes all the attention. She deaf but follows hand commands very well. She is sweet and lady like. She is crate trained, spayed and up to date with shots. Owner got deployed and is in the Middle East and was unable to find a rescue or foster for her until he returned. We were only housing temporary as our situation only allowed a temporary stay. Time is coming up and we either find someone willing to house her until his return or willing to adopt her so she doesn’t have to go to the shelter!

Trixie is a sweet and loving German Shepherd looking for a wonderful family to call her own. She will be turning 3 years old this year, with a date of birth of April 18th. She is fully up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Trixie gets along well with other dogs and is great with both children and adults. We’re not sure how she does with cats. She is fully house-trained and well-behaved indoors. Trixie currently enjoys having her own space in the home, sleeps inside, and loves spending her days outside playing—especially running around and fetching balls. She is a gentle, affectionate companion who would make a wonderful addition to a caring and loving home. Also, Trixie will go to her new home with two dog crates (including bedding), a doggy sofa, and two outdoor cooling mats.

This is Dot. She is a sweetheart full of energy. She is about 2 years old in October and we are looking to rehome because we have a busy lifestyle with three young boys (one newborn) and believe she needs more attention than we can offer for the foreseeable future of our life. She would do best in an active home that can play fetch and go for walks but also loves to be on her bed hanging out in the evenings watching tv with you.

Recently adopted on 8/9/2025 from OC Animal Care. Milo is a 5-year old German Shepherd. He is 85 pounds and just wants attention and love! Milo loves going on walks (3-4x per day) and looooves running around open fields with his two favorite toys: squeaky balls and the flirt pole. Milo is potty trained and crate trained. We suspect Milo had a traumatic past before we adopted him, as evidenced by gnawed down teeth + fly strike ears… which is perhaps why he is reactive to other dogs and people who come near us. Milo is not reactive to us at all though. We’ve hired 3 trainers for Milo’s reactivity and have seen improvement, but there is quite a bit more to work through. Unfortunately, we are looking to rehome our sweet boy because we are (unexpectedly) expecting and cannot risk the safety of our newborn. We love our sweet Milo so much and only want the best for him… we are seeking a family with a home & yard (no kids/pets) who can give him all the love he deserves and needs.
