Story
On Valentine’s Day 2023 I rescued Dizzy’s mom from a shelter, and, little did I know, she was pregnant! A month later she gave birth to 4 puppies! I have devoted a year to them and they are ready for their forever homes. Dizzy is the baby but the biggest of the litter! Dizzy is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He is very tolerant of getting hugs and kisses, which is a good thing because he is irresistible and lovable and loves to give lots of kisses right back! Dizzy loves walks and hikes and trips to the beach. It is strongly recommended he live with an active family, but he is good at resting and relaxing at home when needed. He’s a year old which makes him a teenager, meaning he will continue to need guidance with boundary setting so some experience with dogs is ideal. He is very trainable and is a great listener when given commands. A home with a yard is a must. Dizzy is a very good boy and his forever family will be very lucky!

This boy is amazing. He is handsome ( has one brown and one blue eyes), loving, happy dog of approximately 1 year 6 months. All he needs is a loving human or a family. My daughter and him run and play a lot. He knows his name, he knows how to sit and to listen. If you pet him, he will be quiet and will try to lick you saying " thank you" . He is really in need of a friend and love. I am fostering him and need to move to a new place and unfortunately can't keep him anymore:(

Luna is an absolute beauty, petite with a white coat with apricot markings on her back. She LOVES to play and run with other dogs and tends to be a follower. She will need an active lifestyle and fenced secure yard. Luna tends to be shy initially with strangers but then warms up quickly and gives kisses. She is super smart and learns easily. Luna adores children and would be a great fit for kids 10 yrs old and up. Easy to walk on a leash and crate and house trained. Luna is waiting to find her forever home to start the new year! Wilma is a standout, a diamond in the "ruff"! She is beautiful, loving, playful, and super smart. Knows basic commands and just wants to please. She is very dog friendly and would make a great family member. Wilma rides well in the car, is house and crate trained, and has been fully vetted. We rescued her from a high kill shelter 2 months ago and she had been at the shelter since June after being found as a stray but managed to stay alive for 4 months because she was such a good dog and a volunteer favorite. It cannot be overstated how important it is to have at least a part-time dog trainer/behaviorist at the shelter to assess the dogs for rescue or adoption. Wilma was amazing in the play yard with all breeds of dogs as well as very people friendly. The trainer remarked on what good manners she had and how she would wait at the gate and greet each dog as they came out of their kennel into the yard. She can "read the room" and adjust her play style accordingly. Wilma is always happy to make new friends! Since leaving the shelter she has been fostered with my trainer at her ranch in Hesperia playing and socializing with all the dogs. True to form my trainer cannot say enough nice things about Wilma. She is PERFECT and needs to get into her own loving home where she belongs! Hopefully this profile will help her with that journey. Wilma is approx a 2 yr old, petite 60 lb shep mix, fully vetted with all vaccinations, spayed, and micro chipped. Cora has blossomed into a beautiful spirit once away from that horrible shelter environment. She's been enjoying time at my trainer's ranch and gaining confidence and socializing with all the dogs. She is very dog friendly and LOVES to play and run with all the dogs big or small. In fact she NEEDS a dog buddy! She has a typical rough and tumble husky style of play. A big surprise she is cat friendly too! (See video). She initially is wary of strangers but warms up in time and learning now to trust humans and show her love and affection.
