Recently adopted on 8/9/2025 from OC Animal Care. Milo is a 5-year old German Shepherd. He is 85 pounds and just wants attention and love! Milo loves going on walks (3-4x per day) and looooves running around open fields with his two favorite toys: squeaky balls and the flirt pole. Milo is potty trained and crate trained. We suspect Milo had a traumatic past before we adopted him, as evidenced by gnawed down teeth + fly strike ears… which is perhaps why he is reactive to other dogs and people who come near us. Milo is not reactive to us at all though. We’ve hired 3 trainers for Milo’s reactivity and have seen improvement, but there is quite a bit more to work through. Unfortunately, we are looking to rehome our sweet boy because we are (unexpectedly) expecting and cannot risk the safety of our newborn. We love our sweet Milo so much and only want the best for him… we are seeking a family with a home & yard (no kids/pets) who can give him all the love he deserves and needs.

Story

Dot is a very loving, active and silly dog. She loves attention, playing fetch, and all exercise. She has done well with our kids and our other dog she just has a lot of energy. She is crate trained at night. She was a rescue from a woman who saved a litter of puppies from someone selling them on the side of the road. We haven’t had any issues with Dot outside of the fact she would be better placed in a home that can give her the full attention she needs for mental and physical activity. We are constantly on the go with our kids and feel it’s not fair to her. She would make a family very happy with her love and energy.

I acquired my pet from a breeder at a very young age moving in with my girlfriend, I raised and trained her and she’s extremely playful and will play for hours on hours. She’s currently 2 years old her birthday is October 16. I recently haven’t been able to care for her like I used to and I hate to feel as if she’s getting neglected. My living situation currently has her mostly outside in the backyard she’s always ready to play or go on walks which I take her pretty often and play with her she knows a good amount of tricks or maybe just the basic ones but with her intelligence sky is the limit. She even learned to pee outside on the grass after training her for just 2 days at that. Amazing dog with amazing endurance for long walks maybe even runs if she doesn’t want to jump on you. She has not been socialized effectively as a lot of dogs would attack her at dog parks.

I listen and understand commands very well and recently have been taking professional training classes to improve my handling and walking on a leash. I have strong guarding instincts and it may take me a bit to warm up to you, but I have been working on that with my trainer, but I have to admit that I won't say no to a treat and take it gently. Once I will be comfy with you, I will be the most loyal girl and I hope, a family member. I am a very affectionate pup who loves to play fetch and loves my belly rubbed! I am looking to bond with a family and I couldn't help but get close to my foster parents as I missed my previous parent who passed away, which is why I found myself at the shelter.
