Story
Jay was adopted from the Kansas Humane Society and is a ~5yr old husky/pit mix . He was brought in from the streets with an ear infection, when adopted he was on medication, his right ear seems to be floppy from that but he’s doing better. He was very shy the first couple weeks and we tried introducing him to some other dogs and he had some issues. I don’t think he’s unable to get along with other dogs, he’s great with female dogs, however it’s another story if it’s another male. Unfortunately I now live in a home that already has two dogs and they don’t get along so for his sake I want him to have a better life than being forced to be separated and not comfortable within his own environment. Jay is a very good boy, he walks generally well on a leash! He tries to act macho but he’s a cuddle bug deep down! He’s a big foodie and will always accept a treat! He’s pretty mellow, knows sit, come, wait, and is crate trained! Please give Jay the best possible chance at having an amazing life!

Story
This dog belongs to my son, who is in the Marine Corps. I have had her for 3 months, but I have a large dog and I have his 2 dogs. The plan was to apply to dogs on deployment for temporary foster care while he is in training. But he will be away indefinitely and I am a disabled veteran myself. Multiple dogs are just too much for me to handle. Winter is a female. She gets along with some dogs, but seems to only tolerate Buddy. She doesn't like to be bothered by other dogs. She likes to cuddle but she is not overly affectionate. She is about 8 years old. Buddy is about 6 years old and he's an Anatolian Shepherd. He's a big sweet boy. Loves affectionation and will stay by your side. Very sweet temperament. Would like for them to stay together, but not necessary.
