Meet Sadie — Your Hilarious, High-Energy Adventure Buddy! Sadie is a healthy, 50-lb pitbull mix with a heart as big as her goofy grin. Estimated to be around 5–6 years old, she came to us as a rescue and has been making us laugh ever since. She adores people, loves other dogs, and would probably be fine with cats (though she hasn’t officially tested her feline diplomacy yet). Sadie is all about fun, enthusiasm, and movement — truly a bull-in-a-china-shop personality in the most endearing way. She LOVES going for walks and could make an amazing running buddy with some consistent training. She’s food-motivated, knows her basic commands, and responds beautifully to a choke collar during walks. That said, Sadie is not a couch-potato dog — she’s a lifestyle. When she gets excited, she may jump or play-nip. She sheds, she drools, she thinks furniture is fair game, and she will help herself to anything left on the counter (or in the trash… or your retainers). She’s also an enthusiastic “ba

MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED 12/08-12/14!Jewel is a pretty girl who has had a rough go of it. Now she finds shelter life stressful and transitions difficult. Once she knows you, you are her forever best friend and she becomes sweet and cuddly. This dog will really lean in for pets. And she is a kisser! Jewel hopes you like to walk because she has beautiful leash walking manners that she would like to show off. Or, she will show you how she can entertain herself with a tennis ball or a fuzzy toy. Jewel is hoping for an adopter who will start off keeping her world small and predictable as she settles in. While Jewel would prefer not to live with another dog, she enjoyed living with children in her previous home. And she could possibly live with a cat, using a slow introduction.
