Story
We got Ollie almost 4 years ago from a rescue when he was a puppy. He is turning 4 this July. Ollie is a VERY sweet boy, but he is also reactive. He loves his family, but not many others. He tolerates other dogs when he's boarded, but we don't know how he'd be with other dogs in the house. He lives with 2 young/tween children, and cats - he is fine with them. If you are a social person who has people coming in and out of your house, this might not be the dog for you. He is crate trained and finds that space to be comfortable. He needs a family that has a yard he can play in and will take him for walks and hikes. He loves snuggling on the couch at the end of the day. He's a good companion for someone strong enough to handle his size who has experience teaching obedience. He will be loyal and loving to his immediate family.

Story
Karly is a wonderful dog! She's sweet, snuggly, playful and friendly with people and other animals (except, perhaps, for squirrels :-) She's 5 years old and about 50 lbs. She obeys sit, down, and shake. She's a little iffy on come, stay and not pulling on the leash, but she clearly knows what they mean. She does jump up when meeting people so that would need to be worked on. We've had to use a dog sedative pill for car rides but that may be because she's not used to them. She whines but doesn't bark. Her previous owner(our son's friend) developed a disability including some limitation with mobility, became unable to work and had to move to a place that doesn't allow pets. We took Karly in because the move was happening suddenly, but, unfortunately (we already love her!) we can't keep her because we travel a lot. In fact, when we agreed to take Karly we already had our next trip set up for Jan 23rd - Feb. 1st. Karly (named after Karlach) would be so happy to be YOUR dog.

Story
I got Koda 7/2024 when he was about a year and a half old. His first year and a half of his life was mostly spent in a cage so when I got him, he came with a lot of anxiety and can still be very anxious I feel he’ll be better with no dogs. He can be jumpy when meeting people. He also tends to be mouthy as well and growl especially with men, but he has never bitten anyone. So preferably he should be with someone that doesn’t have many guests over; also mentally and financially stable. I feel he’ll be good with a male or female, but he just needs to get to know you first. He doesn’t do the best on leash, but his recall is pretty good overall from my experience. He needs a home with a land to run. He also needs an enrichment toys for mental stimulation as well. I believe he may have acid reflex since he tends to throw up bile sometimes when he doesn’t eat for a certain period of time. He’s been eating the fresh pet dog food rolls and they do him well. If interested we can talk more.

Story
Bluey came to me after he and his family were displaced from a house fire. Their living arrangements currently are not amendable for this active guy and they will be out of a home for at least a year. He did not come to me trained and was very nervous and anxious after all he's been through. We have been working with him daily to expend his energy and teach him the basics. Which he is learning very quickly! He's a lover boy, always wanting to be with his humans and cuddle close for kisses and belly rubs. He will thrive in an active home as an only pet and possibly dog savvy older kids. He would make the perfect hiking partner. He is quick, agile, and full of enthusiasm for life. His quirky cute personality will surely win your heart.
