Story
This is Yuri, Yuri is a very energetic little Pup. I am moving across country to Mississippi and I can not take her with me. She is kind of house trained, she will still have accidents in side of the house, but she does know to go to the bathroom outside. She is a bundle of energy that does not end if you do not want it to and is also still teething, so she likes too eat anything and everything. She is a beautiful little pupper, and I hope that she can go to an amazing new home.

Story
Phinn is a sweet boy - he is only 6 months old and such a lover. I was meant to foster for a short period so i am helping find him his forever home. If at all interested I am able to get him microchipped and get his shots up to date if it comes down to that being the only issue. He is a major mutt. There is Daniffsky (Great Dane, Mastiff, Husky) Dad is 110lbs and Lab Pit mix (Mom) is 40lbs. He can bark very well :) but he loves to play and get snuggles. He does just want a loving home.

Story
Romalo A18491942 lb. neutered male, approx 11 months old -In the yard he just casually wandered around, taking it all in, curious of everything-He takes treats nicely, spits them out, plays with them and sometimes eats them. He seems to prefer some over others.-He likes to be up in your lap for pets and lots of kisses-Timid to start but opens up and becomes playful and shows off his zoomies-He’s very much like a puppy on leash… Twirly and sometimes all over the place. He just needs some practice.-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit

Story
Warden A18501548 lb. neutered male, approx 1 1/2 years old -Outside he had his nose to the ground sniffing and exploring, enjoying being in the yard-He seems like once he’s comfortable he will have a playful side. I saw brief moments of him perking up and wanting to get excited to play but never really fully engaged.-Inside was different…. as soon as we got into the room, he immediately grabbed a stuffy and started throwing it all around. It didn’t hold his attention long but he’s getting it!-He likes treats, but only would eat them after he was comfortable with me. He takes a few minutes to warm up.-He knows how to sit and he takes snacks very gently-He likes to settle in for pets and belly rubs-He gives an occasional kiss-Walks nicely on a leash-Overall good pup!Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
