Story
Gerty is the goodest girl! I am devastated that we have to get rid of her. I am a newly divorced single mama of three kids and two of them have severe disabilities so my plate is too full to give Gerty what she needs. We've recently entered low income housing and cannot keep her. She needs a good family to live out the rest of her days. She is a beautiful and well behaved dog who needs a place to run! You'd be crazy not to pick her! Just be aware that she is an alpha so she will need an introduction in order to suite compatibility with other pets.

Story
Hi there! My name is Mendez and I am available for adoption! I weigh 45 pounds and am considered a medium-large size breed. I am a husky mix! I know my colors may surprise you, but my floof tells all the tales! I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing. My caregivers have observed that I might not get along with other dogs. I may do best as the only dog in my new home, or I may need a very slow introduction to other dogs. I can get very nervous in new situations! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home.Due to my nervousness, I would do best in a home with older children.I enjoy my kong toy, and going for short walks where I can sniff around the yard! However, because I`ve been so shy here at the shelter, it`s been hard to get a good feel for what I really like doing. I`d like a home where I can explore new things at my own pace! I am very potty trained, though! If you`re looking for a shy guy and willing to give me a try, come visit me down at RASKC!

Story
Hi! My name is Wiley and I am available for adoption.I was brought to RASKC on March 18, 2026. When I arrived I had a collar that was embedded to my neck. The vet staff examined me immediately and started me on some medication. Now I am on the mend and looking for my forever family.I weigh 47.0 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog.I am a young guy who is still working on his manners and leash skills. I am highly treat and toy motivated so with some consistency I can be the best me in no time :)I am energetic so I am always wanting to be on the go! I am looking for a family that can keep me active and my mind busy!I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality!
