Story
We decided to give little Pistachio a loving home when he was surrendered by a neighbor.He is ~9–10 weeks old, likely a Pit Bull mix (possibly Husky or Malinois). He has been vet-checked, received initial vaccines, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and is in great health. The vet noticed he has a cracked canine tooth, likely from chewing, and to monitor him for any signs of pain though this tooth will naturally fall out in a few months.He is affectionate, playful, and very people-oriented. He loves-loves-loves cuddles, chew toys with tags, tv and music, and is already doing well housebreaking and basic commands like sitting. He is smart and eager to learn, and does well with a dog companion.Like most puppies, he is mouthy and teething, and he has shown a tendency to chase cats. Because of his breed mix and our home with cats and a small dog, we are seeking a better long-term fit.Ideal home: experienced with active/strong breeds, committed to training, and preferably no cats.

Meet Scrappy 🐶 (aka: Personal Space? Never Heard of It) Extremely handsome. Like… suspiciously handsome A High-energy chaos gremlin -Needs runs/play daily or will invent his own fun (not fun for me) He Loves people, aggressively. You will be kissed. No breaks. Thinks everyone and everything is his next best friend Dog park = heaven On leash: sees dog, loses his mind trying to say hi Professional cat annoyer Loves apples 🍎, rain 🌧️, and drinking water Hates baths with passion Only barks at the vacuum (they got beef) Training: Sadly haven’t continued training cuz of work and new born Knows sit, down, waits for favorite word “OK” Recall is a work in progress especially with distractions Bonus: Great with our baby, very aware, just very kissy Why rehoming: Leaving for Navy in a couple months can’t bring him😒. He deserves way more time, exercise, and attention. Ideal home: An active, patient, loves a clingy goofball🥲

Bowie is a 1.6-year adorable German Shepherd mix who is the sweetest, snuggliest, goofiest little lover boy and aspiring lap dog. Bowie LOVES his humans and likes to give and receive all the kisses and snuggles. Coming in at 58lbs, he is a great size and will make the perfect med sized adventure buddy! He is a happy boy who loves to play outside in the yard and sniff all the smells, but also knows when it’s time to settle down inside. He’s a great work from home partner! He loves to chase with his humans, play with his ball, go after his teaser wand toy, and all the BELLY RUBS. This handsome guy has beautiful all-over auburn coloring accented with a black snout, white chest, white tippy toes and natural eyeliner and eyelashes that will be the envy of all the ladies, plus the cutest ear standing at attention at all times. He’s a real heartthrob! He gets along great with other dogs and would love it if you had another but not necessary for him to be happy. Bowie is house trained, has great house manners, loves car rides and is an excellent passenger. Bowie completed obedience school and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and wait. He is continuing to work on his basic commands and leash manners. Bowie would thrive in a home with another dog and stay/work at home human. He would also love an active family that enjoys walks, hikes or just snuggling by your side. Bowie is neutered, up-to-date with vaccinations, heartworm tested, (negative) flea/tick prevention given and microchipped. Bowie would make an excellent addition to any family. He’s a neutered male, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready for his next adventure. •Very active, energetic, and athletic •LOVES walks, running, and especially zoomies (a large yard is a must!) Super friendly and affectionate-he truly loves his people. •Gets along with other dogs and cats (though he can be a bit…enthusiastically annoying) ⚠️Things to Know: •He does have a habit of nipping, so he needs continued training and consistency •Not a good fit for a home with small children 💛 Why we’re rehoming him: He is a wonderful dog, but we’ve realized we’re just not the right family for him. We have a young child who doesn’t yet understand boundaries, and we aren’t able to give him the amount of physical and mental stimulation he truly needs to thrive.
