Story
A graceful, confident girl with a beautiful shepherd’s coat and an even more beautiful heart.Emmie is a 7-year-old sweetheart with luxurious, longer shepherd-style fur that makes her look like she walked right out of a storybook. She’s affectionate, steady, and self-assured—comfortable in her own space and happy to calmly observe the world around her.Unlike her snack-loving brother Snowdrift, Emmie is a bit picky with food, but once she finds what she likes, she’s all in. She enjoys a predictable routine and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing what to expect.Emmie has lived with other dogs before and is polite and respectful, but she’ll still do best with slow, thoughtful introductions to any new canine companions. With a patient adopter, she’ll fit into her new home with ease.If you’re looking for a mature, loyal, quietly confident companion, Emmie may be your perfect match. She’s ready to spend her golden years in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the wonderful dog she is.Come meet Emmie—your heart may have just found its match. The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
A gentle, snowy-soft sweetheart looking for his forever home.Snowdrift is a sweet, slightly shy boy with a heart as warm as a winter fireplace. Once he feels comfortable, his personality shines—soft, affectionate, and eager to please. He already knows how to sit and is always ready to show off his manners, especially if you have any kind of food or treats (his absolute favorite thing in the world!).Snowdrift has lived with other dogs before and did well, but because he’s a sensitive soul, he’ll need slow, positive introductions to any new canine companions. With the right match and a patient human, he’ll settle in beautifully. If you’re looking for a dog who’s gentle, loving, and full of quiet charm, Snowdrift might be your perfect winter companion. He can’t wait to meet you and start the next chapter of his story.Ready to fall for Snowdrift? He’s ready to fall for you, too.The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
Meet Indie, a bright and beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd who has blossomed during his time at the shelter. He arrived underweight and itchy from flea allergies, but with care, good food, and love, he’s gaining weight, healing well, and showing his true, gentle nature. Once a bit defensive and barky in his kennel, Indie has worked hard to trust the world again—and it shows. On walks he’s a dream: calm, curious, and happiest when he can sniff every interesting scent along the way. He knows sit and paw, takes treats with remarkable softness, and his intelligence shines through in everything he does. Indie is playful, affectionate, and has that classic GSD loyalty that will make him a devoted companion—and likely a naturally good watchdog for his home. We don’t yet know how he feels about other dogs, but with people he has truly opened his heart. We do know that he will probably chase cats. Indie is incredibly special to those who know him, and he’s ready to be just as special to the person or family who chooses him. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, soulful dog to share your life with, Indie is waiting. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordetella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas.
