Meet lovely 3-year-old Kona! Kona is a lovely shepherd mix who needs a new forever home. Beautiful Kona weighs 75lbs and great with both kids and people alike. She is great in the house, very easy going and super affectionate. Kona is currently in a home with kids 6 and older and she loves them, but since she is a big girl we think young children might get knocked down by her energy. Kona loves and approaches everyone she meets- even strangers. She digs affection and loves to be the center of the attention. She wants to be where her people are! Kona is a medium energy girl who loves to play ball and tug of war. Kona plays gently and does not require a lot of physical exertion. She would love an occasional walk too. Kona walks politely on a leash but does need occasional help with her leash reactivity. Kona knows her basic commands: sit, lay down and is working on stay and leave it. She has no aggression to food or toys. Kona loves to be right next to you and is a true “Velcro” dog. She loves to lay on her back and she gets so excited that her entire body wiggles! Kona would love to be the center of your world! Kona is spayed and vaccinated and house trained. Rocket will be 2 years old on 08-13-2024. I adopted him from a busy family that did not have the time to train him properly, nor give him the exercise he needs to get all his energy out. Unfortunately, this is now the case with my household. Rocket has been through training courses but I still do not have the time to take care of his physical needs nor his mental or emotional needs as a dog. He is still very puppy like, floppy, funny, loud, and very excited. He is great with all people of all ages and good with other animals. There are cats in the house and he will fixate on them but has yet to try and hurt any of them. He is good with other dogs but I do believe, if there are other dogs in the house, the people who adopt him need to be active. Bike riders, hikers, etc.. he has a lot of energy and I do not. I want Rocket to be in an active and loving home. Maybe with kids.He is a great dog. He just needs a better home than I can provide or will be able to in the near future.

Lilith is still a puppy so she’s got plenty of energy. She gets along great with other dogs and always wants to play. Her favorites toys are anything with a rope. Lilith is full of character and with the right family would be great! She is house trained and has some training with a professional trainer. She’s very good at sit, down, and stay. Her recall is pretty good too! We absolutely love Lilith but are choosing to rehome her for the betterment of her. Me and my wife are two very busy people and work late most days so she’s in a kennel most of the day. We are looking for a family that will give her all the time and affection she could ever want. If needed she will come with her kennel and her favorite toy, along with a leash.

Remi is a friendly German Shepherd Dog who came to the shelter with her friend Rajah. Both dogs are enjoying their time in a foster home currently and their foster says they are lovely houseguests. Remi is great at self-entertaining and will toss a tennis ball for herself for hours. She's been good with children and has liked all people she has met. In typical shepherd-fashion, she sometimes has a lot to say when she sees other dogs out on walks. Remi is happiest hanging with Rajah and her foster family in the backyard with some tennis balls or jolly balls. Rajah is currently in foster care along with his friend, Remi. Rajah is a gorgeous and friendly guy who has been great with all people and has also been good with children. He loves tennis balls and enjoys playing fetch. We can't believe Rajah is still with us as he's such a friendly boy and gets along with all people. He also settles well and enjoys napping with Remi. Rajah has been a great houseguest with his fosters. In typical German Shepherd fashion, he does have a lot to say when he sees other dogs on walks and he'd prefer to stay home in his yard playing ball. Rajah's ideal home would be with a family who has a large, fenced-in yard where he could relax and enjoy play time. We are looking for a new home for him since we are a busy family and don't have time to look after him regarding his physical activity and training. He is a good dog very affectionate and loving. He has a structured life. He spends most of his day in the backyard and sleeps in his crate at night thats located in the garage. He has three meals a day in moderate portions. He is not a big fan of kids and is selective with people, but if he likes you he is very loving and protective. If you are a dog lover, have space and time and are seeking to own a German Shepherd, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
