Story
Do you like being the boss? Well TOO BAD because Teddy Graham is in charge! Oh, what's that - you like being told what to do? Well then, Teddy Graham might be your new boss!Teddy Graham is a gorgeous tabby and white cat, around 3 years old, that knows what he likes and dislikes. Right now he prefers to be left on his own as the king of the jungle, but we think with some love and patience from a new owner he will come around. He looks like he wants pets (starts to offer his head for headbutts and scritches) but is a little freaked out so he overcompensates a little - this is probably because the poor guy was dumped outside an apartment building so his trust in humans needs to be rebuilt!Teddy recently had a visit from a cat behaviorist who noticed that Teddy is always sniffing, always looking around, constantly being overstimulated by the world around him. He is running at 110% always! Teddy will need an owner that is willing to give him the stimulation he needs with lots of toys and puzzles. He is a smart cat! We would be happy to share details recommended by our behaviorist (toys to consider purchasing, videos to watch for training) to anyone dedicated to giving Teddy the life and stimulation he needs. Teddy Graham is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and tests negative for FIV and FELV. He just needs you to show him not all humans are jerks! Story
Raven is a beautiful 9-year-old girl who is looking for a home, after her owner passed away. Raven is a chatty, social kitty. She loves human attention. She loves to sit with you on the couch, purring, looking into your eyes, and crawling into your lap for a good snuggle!Raven enjoys her food and treats, a little too much! She would benefit from an owner who will help her to moderate her eating, to keep her healthy and mobile as long as possible! She would do well in a quiet home. She's not accustomed to lots of activity, children, or dogs. She does, however, enjoy the company of other cats. Raven is up-to-date on her rabies and distemper vaccines. She is spayed and microchipped, and tested negative for feline aids and leukemia. Raven does take some daily medication for hypothyroid condition and some stiffness in her legs. She is good about taking her meds, and her foster mom can definitely give any approved adopters the rundown on how and why she takes her medications. Please submit an application at www.meridenhumanesocietyrescue.com.
