Story
What is there to say about Tip that he hasn't already said about himself? I guess you're not here to hear it so let me tell you: Tip makes A LOT of interesting noises. He walks around chirping or squeaking or whatever noises he feels like making. Normally we can even have a conversation simply by asking him "what? then letting him answer with whatever important information he has to relay to you or literally any passersby. He happily conveys every detail to anyone who will listen. He is an odd boy with an interesting personality that tends to jump from thing to thing to thing. One second he'll be sleeping soundly, next second he's sprinting across the room while making his little chirping noises. Did he see a shadow? Sense a disturbance in the force? Hear a poltergeist? Summoned by some unknown being? You can't be sure and honestly, neither is Tip but he's definitely going to check it out. He is active and seemingly always on the move but those who play hard also crash hard. Once he's ready for a nap, he's out. He would like to be a lap cat but he is very awkward as seeking this out, most likely because it wasn't the norm in his previous life. Once he's been assured that it's okay to be a lap cat, he will curl up and sleep. Then he suddenly pops up, all rested, and is ready to go about the house being weird. He's a funny guy and honestly watching him is one of our favorite things simply because he is adorably odd. So what does Tip require? - An attentive owner. Tip is sometimes very interested in doors or other things he shouldn't be and his owner will need to make sure he's staying secure and safe. He's kind of a jump head first kinda dude and he needs someone to reign him back in. - No young kids. Tip can get kinda nippy at times, not maliciously or anything. He's just excited and we know that excitement is typically presented through biting. - Other cats are...still being determined. Previously Tip was a community cat and had a bit of beef with the caretaker's cat. Hormones from not being neutered? Maybe. He normally doesn't bother the cats he's been with here but I have caught him being a little bit of a bully on occasion. He might just not know how to play but the jury is still out especially since the hormones are still working their way out of his system. Either way, we still don't know. Tip does have a Grade 4 heart murmur. It does not seem to affect him but it will need to be monitored by a veterinarian to ensure he's staying healthy. Tip is about 3ish years, neutered, UTD on core vaccinations, FeLV vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his adoption application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call to inquire about adoptions. Hello! It's my pleasure to introduce, Michael Myers. (Read entire bio before applying) Hi 👋 Michael Myers the teenage kidden is wondering why nobody has applied to adopt him yet? 😔 He’s an absolute dreamboat! A bit shy at first, he will warm up and be so very snuggly and sweet! Never an issue with the litter box. 👍 He loves to look outside and watch the birds and squirrels. Sometimes he will meerCAT to see them a bit better. He LOVES water. He can hear a faucet turn on from the other room and will beeline to investigate. He likes to hop in the shower, and the sink. He may or may not have fallen in the toilet a time or two? Just shut the lid okay?! He likes all other friends- dogs and cats alike! In fact, it’s a must for his new home, please (another feline friend is required). He is also friendly with older children who understand and respect the boundaries of having an animal. Who wouldn’t want to live with a guy like Michael Myers?! 🤣 🔪 🔹 Michael Myers is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. 🔹 🔺MUST: be adopted into a home with another cat friend, or be adopted as a pair with another kitten because he loves having friends! 🔻 An application for Michael Myers can be filled out here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application ted into a home with another cat friend, or be adopted as a pair with another kitten because he loves having friends! Story
Fred is a quiet guy who usually can be found sitting back and observing all those around him. We truly think he is just observing and not judging like most cats because he's never given judgy vibes. In fact, Fred is one of the sweetest guys who's willing to attempt a friendship with anyone. It's his nature to be gentle and loving and we truly love that for him. When it comes to making friendships with humans, Fred takes his time. He's usually pretty skittish when meeting someone and needs a bit of time to determine if the vibes are immaculate or sketchy. If you're willing to be patient, Fred will open up and once he's comfy, cozy with a person he tends to get a bit clingy. He'll be underfoot when possible. He'll help you scoop the litter boxes. He'll help you make dinner. He'll help you eat dinner too. Basically he'll be there, every breath you take and every move you make, he'll be there. So if you're in to that and you're cool with letting him adjust on his terms, he may be the one for you! So what does Fred require in his home? - A feline companion. Preferably one who's active but not TOO active. - No young children. Fred is sensitive to sounds and movements and tiny humans are not so good at recognizing that. - Patience and time. If you want a cat who's going to immediately adjust then that's most likely not going to be Fred. Some cats surprise us but let's go ahead and assume that Fred is going to take some time. Fred is about 4 years old, neutered, UTD on core vaccinations, FeLV vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call to inquire about adoptions.
