***Obi Wan and Vader are bonded. They MUST be adopted together!***My name is Vader and I am a gray domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 4 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 09/13/2025. My brother had an injury that required a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) surgery due to femoral head fracture. Unfortunately, my family was facing hard times financially, and could not afford the surgery on top of the struggles they were facing for our day to day care. The shelter offered to work with my family on a plan so we could all stay together, but my family ultimately made the selfless decision to surrender us. They didn`t want my brother to be seperated from me because we are the best of friends, so they surrendered me with him so neither of us would be alone.The shelter has taken care of my brother`s surgery, and he is well into his recovery. Playing with me is excellent rehab for my brother, so we`ve had lots of play time in our kennel and in one of the exercise rooms.I am a typical high energy kitten and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I have been good with both men and women, and I love children. I have been good with other cats and I have been good with dogs. I am a good kitty that uses the litter box with no accidents.

***Obi Wan and Vader are bonded. They MUST be adopted together!***My name is Obi Wan and I am a gray domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 4 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 09/13/2025. I had a femoral head fracture, which required a surgery called a `Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO).` This kind of fracture can be common in juvenile kittens. It can happen from trauma (if I fell while trying to jump up/down) or spontaneously. The break happens at the growth plate, so if there is cartilage abnormalities or weakness from growth, this can happen.Unfortunately, my family was facing hard times financially, and could not afford the surgery on top of the struggles they were facing for our day to day care. The shelter offered to work with my family on a plan so we could all stay together, but my family ultimately made the selfless decision to surrender me. They didn`t want me to be seperated from my brother because we are the best of friends, so they surrendered him with me so I wouldn`t be alone.The shelter has taken care of my surgery, and I`m well into my recovery. FHO surgeries are generally 100% curative and I should have no long-term effects from the injury and surgery. Playing with my brother is excellent rehab for me, so we`ve had lots of play time in our kennel and in one of the exercise rooms.I am a typical high energy kitten and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. My name is Alessandro and I am a blue & white domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 4 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 09/15/2025 due to the fact my owner was not able to afford to take care of me. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a high energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and children. I can be good with other cats and I can be good with dogs.
