Story
He is a sweet baby boy who is turning 4 years old soon. I got him from the Animal Humane Society, and when we first met, he was a rescue kitten. From the beginning, he’s always had a shy and quiet personality, the type of cat who stays calm and gentle even when he feels nervous. He doesn’t act out, not even at the vet, and he is truly well-behaved and disciplined. Even though he gets scared easily, he has never bitten or scratched anyone. He is very careful, respectful, and has a soft heart. It did take him time to get used to being around men, especially tall men, since he can feel intimidated, but once he feels safe he slowly warms up. He is most friendly with females, and especially trusts the people who feed him and care for him. I’m looking for a calm, patient, and loving home where he can feel comfortable, adjust at his own pace, and be treated gently. Overall, he is a gentle, quiet little soul who thrives in a peaceful environment.

Story
Faye is an adorable tabby who will be 4 years old in March. She is spayed. She's lived in my home with my other cat amicably, however she is very shy around new people and animals. She's a snuggly, chubby, loving girl who sleeps more than anything and would do best in a quieter home with no dogs. Unfortunately, I adopted a puppy awhile ago and poor Faye has made zero progress adjusting. She stays hiding in the back of the closet and has been eating on and off. It's no life for her and I'd like to find someone to give her the stress-free, calm home she needs. She's always been healthy, so no special needs. I can provide her carrier and her favorite blanket, and bag of the food she eats. I only ask that her new owner be loving and patient with her as she is very shy.

Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet Jive! 🐾 Jive is a bold, playful, and super sweet brown short-haired boy who loves to be in the middle of the action. He’s got a ton of energy and a big personality to match — if there’s a feather wand or a tunnel around, he’s in it. When he’s not zooming through playtime, you’ll find him lounging by the window or basking in a cozy warm spot near the heat. This chatty guy isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts — he’ll vocalize when he wants attention or just feels like adding commentary to the day. Jive enjoys affection, but on his own terms (classic cat confidence). He’s fully litter trained, loves a good cat tree climb, and thrives with regular play sessions to help him burn off energy — especially since he can get a little talkative at night if he’s bored. Jive would prefer to be the only cat in the home, though he might do okay with the right calm companion. He hasn’t met dogs or kids in rescue, but would likely be fine with gentle introductions. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, expressive cat with a zest for life and a soft spot for cuddles and playtime, Jive’s your guy! 💛 Currently fostered with: Snuggles. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Meet Geri! Geri is a delightful one-of-a-kind calico with a mix of playful energy and calm charm. She’s curious and loves exploring every corner of her space, chasing toys, batting shiny objects, and soaking up sunbeams by the windows. Whether she’s playfully rolling around with a ball or lounging on the couch, Geri is a joy to watch. She enjoys cuddles on her own terms and is happy to be picked up, but doesn’t require constant attention—perfect for someone who wants a companion who’s affectionate yet independent. Geri has a quirky side too: she’s a little scared of moving alpaca slippers, possibly thinking the stuffed animals are real! Geri has not met other cats, dogs, or children, so introductions would need to be slow and patient. She’s fully litter trained, loves couches and beds, and her mix of active and chill moments makes her adaptable to many household types. She does have a minor allergy/asthma issue, but it’s manageable and hasn’t slowed her down—she’s still her playful, loving self. Geri would thrive in a home that can give her gentle attention, toys to explore, and plenty of sunny spots for relaxing. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, curious, and talkative companion who can keep you entertained and melt your heart, Geri might be your perfect match! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Meet Johan — a handsome gray kitten with a thoughtful nature and a playful spark. Johan is a young short-haired boy who came into rescue after living outside, so he’s still learning that humans can be trusted. Because of his background, he will need time and patience to fully settle in. Johan prefers minimal handling and likes to interact on his own terms, but when he feels safe, he will purr and allow gentle petting — a special reward for earning his trust. He has a medium energy level and enjoys playtime with wand toys and toy mice. You’ll often find him perched on top of the cat house, watching the world go by from his favorite high spot. Johan is fully litter trained and does great with other cats. In fact, he must go to a home with another friendly cat, which will help him feel secure and confident. Johan has not met dogs while in rescue, but would likely do fine with a calm, respectful dog given proper introductions. He would do best in a quieter home with older, cat-savvy kids who understand how to give him space as he adjusts. With patience, consistency, and feline companionship, Johan will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion. Johan is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.
