Story
Meet Matteo! Matteo is a shy boy when you first meet but once he warms up he wants nothing more than to be snuggled and pet all the time. He is very playful, curious, and incredibly sweet. When he's not playing with his feather toy, you will find him sitting in the window watching the birds, playing with the resident cat, or he will be snuggled up and purring right in your lap. He grew up with his brother for 10 months but is now solo. Matteo would LOVE a home with another friendly cat or a human companion that can be home often I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Hi, my name is Wonton! I'm a black male shorthair, and just had my first birthday! As you might've guessed by my age, I have a lot of energy and love to play. To me, anything can be a toy, but my favorite is a blue owl wand - I like to carry him with me everywhere. I also love playing with plastic springs, and hiding in paper bags. When I need rest after zoomies up and down the hallway, you'll find me asleep in a blanket fort, a sunny spot by the window, or keeping an eye on birds & squirrels in the yard. Additionally, I have developed a habit of drinking out of the bathroom sink. I am fascinated by running water, and would probably be interested in drinking out of a kitty water fountain if you had one! My foster parents say I'm a bit of velcro cat (I do love feeling included and being close to my people), so I'd probably do well in a home where someone either works from home and I could nap near them, or with someone who has/is planning to adopt another kitty for me to be buds with during the day. I would do best in a home with no young children. I have a good amount of energy, and sometimes treat my human foster parents like fellow kittens when we're playing (I'm working on this!). You'll quickly learn when I need a little extra playtime when I carry my owl toy over and plop it in front of you with a tiny "eep sound- I'm great at communicating my needs! I had a lot of ear infections when I was a baby, so I got surgery to remove and close my left ear canal (which is why my left ear sits flat on on my head, and can look like someone took a little chomp out of it :) You wouldn't know that I'm deaf in one ear, though- I can hear my wet food can crack open from across the house. Since my surgery I have been a very happy and healthy cat! My foster parents are SO jealous of who gets to have me in their family- I'm the most fun and quirky little companion, and can't wait to meet you soon! I'm an amazing little companion and can't wait to meet my forever family! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Adoption Fee: $250 + applicable tax MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you'd like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking "adopt me!. Story
Rascal is a little cautious of new situations. But adapts fairly quickly. He loves to perch in the highest place he can find and watch what's happening below. Then he will descend for meal time and human attention as he sees fit (although he's always down for some ear scratches!). You may also find him prowling around the house looking for catnip toys or scouting out his next watch tower. Rascal will occasionally talk to us by letting out a meow when he wants something from us but we aren't paying attention. It's nothing too excessive though :) His daily routine task is to conquer his human's lap, snuggle, and purr until he is content. Rascal would do well in a home by himself; he likes all the attention to himself. He would also prefer no dogs or older, calmer dogs as the young wild dogs sometimes overwhelm him. Rascal is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for their age. Story
Hi! My name is Oliver and I am the sweetest boy! I absolutely love people and start purring just looking at you! I love attention. I will follow you around, sit on your lap and sleep by your feet because I love being the center of attention! I am a very big boy that loves to have fun playing with toys. Catnip is pretty much my favorite thing on earth. I also enjoy eating. I get along with some cats but not all cats are my favorite. I think I would do great as an only cat or with a cat who isn't too dominant (because as I mentioned I love being the center of attention!). I am not a fan of dogs but I do well with kids. You really need to come meet me - I am a huge teddy bear cat with the biggest heart. I am FIV+ but that doesn't slow me down! I can still safely live with other cats as long as I get along with them and I will live a normal, healthy life! I do ask that you take me to the vet twice a year though to make sure I stay in tip top shape! FIV can lower a cat's immune system so things like kitty colds can affect me more than an FIV negative cat. But overall there is not any extra day-to-day care needed for me! Oliver is fixed, microchipped, FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Story
Short hair female cat About a year old This is Callie, is an absolutely wonderful cat. She definitely needs a home with no other animals or small kids. Callie is definitely an attention hog but she is such a sweet cat and loves to cuddle. Callie has all her vaccinations up to date and is spayed. She has so much love to give for the right family unfortunately that just wasn’t my home. I got her at about 5 months old from a shelter, she can definitely be described as energetic, cuddly, attention loving and gentle. Her only behavioral issue she is very aggressive with other cats so I recommend keeping her away from other kitties.

**PENNY AND TIPPER ARE A BONDED PAIR WHO MUST LIVE OUT THEIR LIVES TOGETHER! THEY ARE CURRENTLY STAYING AT THE CAFE MEOW IN ROSEVILLE. YOU CAN RESERVE A TIME THROUGH https://thecafemeow.com/roseville/ TO MEET THEM! THEY ARE A VERY SWEET PAIR! ** Name: Penny Breed: DSH Gender: Female DOB: 04/17/2019 Color: Black & White Name: Tipper Breed: DSH Gender: Male DOB: 04/17/2019 Color: Dark Grey & White Penny and Tipper had been found a week after their human had died - confused and traumatized. They came into rescue and were given lots of TLC and time to decompress from the trauma. They bounced back amazingly well and are the most affectionate kitties who adore attention and cuddles! Penny and Tipper have a wonderful sibling bond. They are very sweet with each other and humans! Tipper can be a little enthusiastic at dinner time not only with his food but Penny's food as well. They seem to do just fine with other cats and should do well with an older well-mannered child. We are not certain how they would be with a dog. Penny does have a chronic issue with her left eye (since kittenhood). She occasionally will need eye meds applied but her eyesight is completely fine. She will benefit from having l-lysine (supplement) added to her food for this as well. Both Penny and Tipper have been altered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $450+tax

Story
DOB: 08/15/2017 Katie Ann was surrendered by her owner when the new girlfriend became allergic. Fortunately, Katie Ann found her way to us! This adorable girl has a lot of love to share. She may have a touch of sass from time to time but she would much prefer to show her cuddly side. She is good about being held and is happy to keep a lap warm in the chilly months. She still has a lot of energy for play and can carry on a conversation at will. She will cuddle for hours if her human gives her the chance! Katie Ann lived with another cat for a short period of time and although we believe that she would prefer to have a human to herself in her new home. Katie Ann has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225+tax

Story
SISTER TRIO!! Name: Rascal & Twinsy Breed: DSH DOB: 5-1-2016 Gender: Female Color: Brown Tabby Name: Simy Breed: DSH DOB: 5-1-2016 Gender: Female Color: Siamese mix Rascal, Twinsy and Simy came to us from a home where there was an overpopulation of cats. The three sisters initially had a number of health issues due to the poor living conditions and lack of quality food. After receiving vet care, dentals and quality food and care, their health has improved greatly! All three have shown a great sisterly-bond and will need to be adopted together. They are shy but amazingly sweet kitties. Once they settle in, they will seek out attention and love to follow their human around the house. They adore attention and snuggle time. We suspect that these kitties have mild characteristics of CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia). This is a neurological disorder that only affects their balance and mobility. They have been doing really well with getting around with a few extra "steps" and places to make it easier to climb. They have also all had some dental issues and have had bouts of gingivitis. With quality food and care, they can live a long and happy life. The sister trio will need a quiet home with no young children or dogs. They will also need a home that can accommodate for their limitations to make it easier and safe for them to live comfortably. They will also need to continue to be on grain-free canned food diet along with inexpensive immune boosting supplements to keep their teeth and immune systems strong. All three have been spayed, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped. They have all had dentals recently as well. Adoption fee is $575+tax
