Story
This big boy is a gentle giant, so sweet and friendly!  We all hear the stories of how people move and leave their pets behind. Sadly, this is exactly what happened to Nix. He gets along with other cats, eats well and has excellent litter box manners. Plus he loves belly rubs and is a champion Biscuit Maker!!!  He is FIV + which means he needs to be kept indoors with proper nutrition and get regular vet checkups just like any other cat. No special care is needed. FIV cannot spread to humans. It is a species-specific virus that only affects cats. FIV cannot infect people, dogs, or other non-feline pets. FIV is primarily transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds.FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives and can even live with non-FIV cats safely, provided they do not fight.Nix deserves a chance for a family that will love him - not abandon him. He just needs a second chance. Check out a recent video of him meeting one of our volunteers for the 1st time - he immediately climbed into her lap!  View the full bio/profile and photos/videos HERE: https://www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=22088784       All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been: Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost. Story
Hi there, I'm Phantom.  I was trapped outside as a kitten with my sisters Inky & Lunar by our foster.  She took us in for chance of life inside.  It's quite a luxury that I have gotten custum to.  I'm a curious guy often watching to see what my foster is up to and then sometimes running with my chirps to get me some attention.  Like my sisters I just purr, purr, purr when getting me some pets!  If I am not laying under a blanket, thinking I can't be seen, I'm playing, watching me some 'cat' tv and/or  chasing treats. Like most of my feline friends it might take me a bit to warm up but I am hoping to get that chance to have a furrever home!
