JAZZY and friends, arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine on Friday 26 June 2026 from our partner shelter in Texas. We post our available pets across the east coast and Canada and welcome applications from anywhere on the understanding that approved families must be prepared to travel to the rescue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Health & Background Estimated Date of Birth: 2l March 2026 ✅ SPAYED ✅ NWS Transport Protocol: Credelio CAT and Capstar administered orally prior to transport from a New World Screwworm (NWS) affected area. ✅ FIV Test (SNAP): Negative ✅ FeLV Test (SNAP): Negative ✅ Eclipse 4 (FVRCP+C) Vaccination: Protects against Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (Herpesvirus-1), Feline Calicivirus, Feline Panleukopenia (Feline Distemper), and Chlamydia felis. Rabies Vaccine: Too young to receive at time of transport - WILL NEED RABIES! ✅ Microchipped with 24PetWatch and registered with the Free Pet Chip Registry. ⚖️ Weight: 18 July 2026 - 4.9 pounds Jazzy has been at the rescue since 26 June and is such a sweet, fun, affectionate, high energy kitty. She shared a large cat room with her kitty friends and they played, charged around, ate together and groomed each other and of course snuggled up together. Sadly all her friends have been adopted and she is here alone. Jazzy as well as being great with other cats, is good with dogs and puppies and when it is feesible comes out to hang out with them in the house, she is confident and doesn't mind them sniffing and trying to play with her and will stand her ground if they get a bit too pushy. Jazzy is also great in a cat carrier and does great travelling. For a while the rescue had a fundraising store in the Bangor Mall, where 4-5 days a week we would travel 45 minutes each way. A pen was set up for the kitties and people of all ages and sizes would come in and hang out in the kitty pen sharing their love and affection. She has no problems going in a cat carrier or travelling. She has used several kinds of clumping litter and also the more natural wheat litter and has  no problems. She is currently eating a selection of different brand and protein dry food so it will be easy for her to transition to whatever food her new family prefers. Jazzy is a sweet confident kitten, who loves to snuggle and play with her kitten friends, but is also very affectionate with people, immediately going up to them to climb on their knee, their head, their back or wherever she wants (lol) will giving out her loud purring. Mariyln was born on September 19, 2023. She is part of a close-knit family that includes her mother, Lily, and her sister, Edie. Marilyn is the smallest in the family and is very playful. While she hasn't been tested with kids or dogs, she is eager to meet new friends. This wonderful little family loves to play as well as enjoy leisurely lounging around on cat trees. Some of their favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. They adore kitty treats, brushing, and the catnip that their foster provides. They are truly affectionate and want to be adopted together, ideally with one of their siblings or their mom. With delicious food, playtime, and lots of pets and love, they warm up quickly. Marilyn is a particularly loving and sweet girl. She enjoys lounging on her foster mom's lap or sitting on the computer while she works from home, making her a regular office kitty. With her adorable button nose, it's hard not to fall in love with her! All members of the family are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped.    Meet Edie and her family! We love to play but also enjoy lounging around on cat trees. Some of our favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. We adore all the kitty treats, grooming, and catnip that our foster provides. We are truly affectionate and would love to be adopted with one of our siblings or our mom. We’re irresistibly cute and quickly warm up to food, playtime, and lots of pets and love. Lily is our mom, and we are Edie, Marilyn, and Herman. Edie is super sweet and craves attention. Her fur is fluffier than her siblings’. Edie often helps her foster mom, wanting to be on the desk or in her lap, but she has to take turns with her siblings. She loves getting all the affection and is always the first one to the food bowl. All of us are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped.
