Story
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Gender: Spayed Female Age: 6 years old Size: 13lbs History Tuesday has been at the shelter since July 2025. Rescued as a feral kitten, she was raised in a home with dogs which was a stressful environment that wasn’t the right fit for her. Her owner surrendered her to us, and she is enjoying the space she needs to decompress and show her true self. Personality Quiet and observant, Tuesday is becoming more curious since arriving and is gradually getting more comfortable around strangers. Independent by nature, she prefers doing her own thing and warms up slowly, though faster with women. Tuesday isn’t demanding, but she will thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. It takes daily contact to bond with Tuesday. She may come off as sassy the first time you meet her, after she gets used to you (and is fed by you), she will lean in for pets and look forward to you spending time with her. It takes a little patience to win her over. She is particularly fond of one of our volunteers that pets her, speaks to her, and Tuesday's favorite - feeds her. Favorite Activities She loves lounging in her favorite spots and watching the world go by, particularly on the cat tower by the large window overlooking the lobby. She will sit on the top and make sure everything is running smoothly. She also enjoys her scratcher post and batting at the sticky notes on the window. Cohabitation Tuesday does not like dogs and appears not like other cats as well. Due to her boundaries, she would likely do best in a home without small children, as she does not like being messed with. Medical She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Because she had crystals in her urine when she came to the shelter, the vet put her on a special diet. All of this consists of is a particular brand of food. Otherwise, she does not need any additional meds and is healthy.

Story
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Gender: Spayed Female Age:2.5 years old Size: 11lbs History: Roxy was surrendered to the shelter. Personality: Roxy is new to the shelter, so we are still getting to know her. So far, she has been nothing but sweet. She is calm, quiet, and gentle. She loves affection, does great with new people, and doesn't mind being picked up. We believe she would be great for a first-time cat owner! Cohabitation: It is unknown whether she gets along with other cats or dogs, though she doesn't mind seeing and being around other cats in the cat room. We believe she would be great with children. Medical: She is spayed, vaccinated, and overall in good health.

Story
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Gender: Spayed Female Age: Unknown (possible 3) Size: 13.5lbs History: Charlotte was abandoned along with her cat sister and dog brother. Personality: Charlotte is sweet through-and-through. It's impossible not to fall in love with her! She loves affection and could hangout with you all day. She will lounge in her litter box and soak up attention, purring loudly and meowing softly. It's sad to see her cooped up, as she so clearly wants to be among people. Cohabitation: Since she lived with another cat and dog, we suspect she would do well with other animals in the home. We could see her in a variety of settings: she would do well with a big family and constant attention or one person who she can focus on. Medical: She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines, but she is on the heavier side and could stand to lose some weight.
