Story
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Gender: Spayed Female Age: 6 years old Size: 13lbs History Tuesday has been at the shelter since July 2025. Rescued as a feral kitten, she was raised in a home with dogs which was a stressful environment that wasn’t the right fit for her. Her owner surrendered her to us, and she is enjoying the space she needs to decompress and show her true self. Personality Quiet and observant, Tuesday is becoming more curious since arriving and is gradually getting more comfortable around strangers. Independent by nature, she prefers doing her own thing and warms up slowly, though faster with women. Tuesday isn’t demanding, but she will thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. It takes daily contact to bond with Tuesday. She may come off as sassy the first time you meet her, after she gets used to you (and is fed by you), she will lean in for pets and look forward to you spending time with her. It takes a little patience to win her over. She is particularly fond of one of our volunteers that pets her, speaks to her, and Tuesday's favorite - feeds her. Favorite Activities She loves lounging in her favorite spots and watching the world go by, particularly on the cat tower by the large window overlooking the lobby. She will sit on the top and make sure everything is running smoothly. She also enjoys her scratcher post and batting at the sticky notes on the window. Cohabitation Tuesday does not like dogs and appears not like other cats as well. Due to her boundaries, she would likely do best in a home without small children, as she does not like being messed with. Medical She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Because she had crystals in her urine when she came to the shelter, the vet put her on a special diet. All of this consists of is a particular brand of food. Otherwise, she does not need any additional meds and is healthy.

Story
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Gender: Neutered Male Age: 2.5 years old Size: 10lbs History: He was a stray cat that someone was feeding but was unable to care for them full time. He was surrendered to the shelter in October of 2025. Personality: Mr. Beaumont, or simply Beaumont once you earn his trust, is a quiet, independent gentleman who prefers to take things at his own pace. He needs a little time to warm up to new people and environments, but once trust is established, he settles in nicely. He is also quiet, clean, and fully litter trained! Favorite Activities: Beaumont enjoys roaming, exploring, and choosing when he wants attention. He also loves to eat, but when he’s not enjoying a meal, you’ll often find him stretched out in a sunny spot or watching birds and squirrels from the window. He is an observant gentleman that likes watching the world go by. Cohabitation: He would thrive in a calm home with a patient adopter who understands and respects a cat that values independence and gentle communication. It is unknown if he gets along with other animals or children, but because of his shy nature, he prefers to be left alone. Medical: He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and completely healthy.
