Story
Jax was born on 1/3/21. I initially got him as a kitten at eight weeks old. My son really wanted a pet, but I was not fond on the idea of a dog. So I got him a cat instead. He wasn’t the biggest fan of my son. I think he will do well with older, calmer children and calmer dogs. He has never been around another cat before so that is questionable. I just recently went through a breakup and had to significantly downsize my living space. This little guy is not adjusting to a small apartment very well and seems very depressed. Additionally, I am currently looking for travel jobs so I will not be home to take care of him and he experiences separation anxiety, if left alone too long. He’s a sweet boy and deserves a loving family. My son has moved to his dad’s and they have a dog that hates cats so he could not take him with him. My apartment does not know I have him, and I would like to rehome him before they find out. He is 100% litter box trained and neutered.

Story
Carrie and Blaire are a bonded pair of sweet girls who have already overcome so much together. They were found by animal control in a closed laundry basket and pulled from the euthanasia list at the last minute. Since coming into foster care, they have made incredible progress and continue to grow more social and confident every day. Blaire is the more outgoing of the two and warms up more quickly, while Carrie takes a little more time. Once they feel safe, they are very sweet, gentle girls who enjoy playing and relaxing together. They would do best in a quieter home with someone patient and understanding who will let them adjust at their own pace. Watching shy cats learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and these two will be such a special addition to the right family. They are looking for a forever home willing to give them the love and patience they deserve.

Story
Finnegan (Finn) came to us from a cat rescue organization. We got him as a kitten. He’s now almost 4. He began life as an indoor cat only, but began to enjoy outside time a couple years ago when our house had a cat door. Since moving, we’re not able to have him outside as much (no cat door and the neighbors aren’t as cat friendly). Our two dogs, Maisie (9) and Kai (1), have begun to chase him a lot more, especially our youngest. They aren’t trying to harm him, but the constant stress of having to watch out for them is getting to Finn. I think he’d be an excellent indoor/outdoor cat or an outdoor only (barn cat) on a farm. Assuming he would have access to warm shelter when it got cold. Being a “spicy” orange cat, he’s not known for being overly affectionate, but does love a good head scratch when he shows interest. I just want him to have a great life.
