Meet Kona: The Little Man in the Tuxedo Every once in a while, a kitten comes along who proves that even the smallest hearts can be incredibly brave. This darling tuxedo boy was found all alone in the River Run neighborhood of Davidson. When he first arrived in foster care, he was battling an upper respiratory infection and needed a little extra TLC. Thanks to great veterinary care and lots of love, Kona has made a full recovery and is now living his very best life. Today, Kona is healthy, happy, and full of kitten charm. He has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes everyone he meets fall in love. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring new places, or curling up for a nap, Kona does everything with quiet confidence and sweetness. Kona would enjoy a kitten friend, but Kona also has enough love to shine in a home of his own with older animals. Don't let his tiny size fool you! This little tuxedo boy is a professional heart thief. he has a way of looking up at you with those bright eyes that makes you forget whatever you were doing.

Meet Bellatrix — From #24 to Love Bug! 🖤🐾 Once upon a time, she was simply known as Number 24. She was one of the cats living in the Summer’s Walk community here in Davidson, where what started as a few cats quickly became a much bigger problem. Fortunately, some amazing local neighbors stepped up to help, and together we were able to TNR 25 cats and kittens from the community. ❤️ And then there was #24. Bellatrix started out as a spicy little black kitten who wasn't entirely convinced that humans were worth her time. But somewhere along the way, she discovered the secret: humans come with food, warm laps, chin scratches, and love. And Bellatrix decided she was ALL IN. 🥰 Today, this former little firecracker is a certified LOVE BUNNY. She purrs, she makes biscuits, she snuggles, and she has perfected the art of looking up at you as if to say, “Yes, I believe you should pet me now.” Her transformation is pretty remarkable—and it's a wonderful reminder of what a little patience, kindness, and time can do. Bellatrix is now ready for the next chapter of her story: a forever home with a feline friend. She would love to have another cat to play with, nap beside, and share all those important kitten activities with.
