Fig was found late one night on the edge of a construction site in Davidson, lost, scared, and hungry. He was also badly injured, with fresh wounds that probably came from an attack from a feral cat when Fig wandered, confused, onto his territory. It was clear Fig was someone’s cat who was either lost or had been dumped, and he didn’t know where to go. When his rescuer spotted him on the construction site, he ran over to her car, so excited to see a friendly face. As soon as she got out of the car, Fig Newton started purring and asking for pets. Since then, Fig Newton’s little spirit has continued to shine. He is just a little lovebug. What Fig Newton is looking for is a best friend. He wants to curl up in his human’s lap all day, every day. If you are looking for a new best friend, this little guy is for you. He is: a neutered male, approximately 3 years old, and fully vetted. Vaccinated, dewormed, deflead. He is also FIV positive. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, and normal lives, and they can live with FIV-negative cats in a peaceful, stable household. He is ready for his forever home! 🖤 Meet Andromeda: A Little Old Lady in a Kitten Body Don’t let Andromeda’s tiny size fool you—this little black kitten has A LOT to say! In fact, judging by her profile picture, she appears to have several very important opinions that she would like to share with you immediately! And then there’s her meow. Oh, that meow. Instead of the typical sweet little mew you might expect from a kitten, Andromeda sounds like a raspy, deep-voiced little old lady who has spent the last 70 years complaining about the price of groceries and the neighbors’ parking habits. 😂 It is absolutely adorable. Andromeda is a wonderfully expressive girl who isn't afraid to use her voice to let you know when she wants attention, when she has something to tell you, or when she simply feels that the household could benefit from hearing her perspective. She may be a tiny black kitten, but she has the personality of someone who has seen things. Underneath that wonderfully grumpy-sounding voice is a sweet little girl who is ready to find her forever family. She'll bring plenty of personality, plenty of entertainment, and—if her voice is any indication—plenty of conversation to her new home. If you've always wanted a kitten who looks like a tiny panther but sounds like your favorite grandmother, Andromeda may be your girl. 🖤🐈‍⬛ Come meet this one-of-a-kind little lady and prepare to fall in love with the raspy voice you never knew you needed! Andromeda is ready for her forever home. ❤️
