Story
Bud came to my house one day. He let me pet him right away. He tries to get in the house but I can't t let him because my two resident cats are too aggressive. He is very sweet. I'm unable to care for him because of my two resident cats are highly likely to fight with him therefore the exchange of blood is likely which is how FIV positive is passed on. I had Bud to the vet and he is healthy. The vet agreed the cohabitation of him with my 2 cats would put them at a higher risk of contracting FIV. The vet is also the vet for my 2 cats and is aware of t heir personalities. Bud is in need of immediate adoption because he needs to be an indoor cat based on his loving behavior and of trying to get in my door. My house is too small that I can't separate resident cats from Bud. Please adopt Bud.

Story
Meet "Queen" Josephine! She's looking for a home where she can be your one and only feline companion. Josephine is 8 years old and when her hooman passed away, we took her in so that she wouldn't go to a shelter. Josephine LOVES people! She loves attention, pets, scratches, being brushed, cozy blankets to curl up on, or a good lap to sit in. She will reward you with crazy loud purring! Josephine also loves pom pom toys, mouse toys, scratching boards/posts, crunchy Temptations treats, Fancy Feast wet food (fish & shrimp feast is her fave!), and any kind of dry food. Did we mention she's a voluptuous 14 pounds? She's a little self conscious, so she doesn't like to be picked up! Unfortunately, Josephine does NOT like other cats. Our 2 resident furriends have not been happy since Josephine arrived, and Josephine has made her dislike of them well known! She needs a home where she is an only cat, and we recommend older kids only (we don't know her experience with babies/little children).

Story
Nikko is an exceptionally handsome tabby boy with a big personality. He is a very friendly kitty who enjoys spending time with his people and seems to like dogs. Nikko thrives on being petted and is fine with being held. As with most kitties he enjoys playtime. Foil balls, catnip toys and the turbo scratcher are a few of his favorites. Nikko is a social boy who adjusts quickly to new people and places. Nikko tends to be a bit bossy with the other cats especially around meal time and lets them know by swatting at them. We feel he would be happiest as an only cat or with one other cat who will respect his space. We also feel he will do well with dogs with proper introduction. Nikko cannot wait to have a family to call his own! Nikko is about 2 years old, ( as of 3/1/25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Felv and positive FIV.

Story
Introducing Willow!❤️ This petite tabby girl with the over-the-back tail is Willow. We don't know much about what her life was like before being rescued, but we know that, even in loving foster homes, she started off as very scared and skittish. In her first foster home, her family couldn't get photos of her because she constantly hid and would run away if people approached her. Now in her second foster home, there have been some positive changes, but she will still be a challenge for an adoptive family.☺️ She is cute and playful, whether by herself or with other cats. She tries to be friends with other cats in her foster home, but doesn't have much confidence, even though the other cats set good examples of typical cat behavior. She lets her foster family pet her, and she seems to enjoy it; she keeps head-butting hands asking for more pets. However they still cannot pick her up so they continue to work on that. She has been coaxed daily for over a year to jump up on a lap and always looked interested but then ran away. Very recently, however, she jumped up on a lap for the first time. 😻 She finally seemed to understand that it is safe and comfortable. What a day to celebrate! 🙌🏽 There’s a video in the comments that shows her finally appreciating a lap. Otherwise, she is a typical, adorable little girl. She likes to watch birds and squirrels from a cat tree and plays with kickers that are bigger than she is. She carries around toy mice and races up and down stairs with the zoomies. She is looking for a home with experienced adopters who are willing to continue to work with her and help her build confidence. Her playful demeanor and adorable face will be a great reward for a new family. We think she would do well with another cat who is confident but laid back and not dominant. We do not recommend a home with small children, as Willow is still skittish and scared of movement toward her. Willow is about 1 year and 8 months old, spayed, up-to-date with vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Syrup is a courtesy post. If you are interested in Syrup, please email Michele at mixologymichele@gmail.com. Meet Syrup, a one-year-old grey tiger whose sweetness lives up to her name! This affectionate cuddlebug adores being held, pet, and curling up in cozy laps. With her soft coat and playful spirit, Syrup brings joy to every moment—whether she’s chasing toys in a solo adventure or romping with feline friends. Full of love and ready for a forever home, she can’t wait to share her purrs and playtime with you. She loves to be the queen of the castle so would do well with another female cat or gentle boy or even the solo cat to get all the attention to herself. Syrup was found on the streets with her 2 kittens, now named Waffles and Pancake (who are also looking for their furever homes). She was a great mom and now is her time to find her loving home, warm and safe inside. Could Syrup be the furry companion you’ve been searching for? Come meet her today and let her steal your heart! She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate shots, dewormed, flea treated, Fiv/Felv negative

Story
Looking for an adult cat with lots of love and charm then look no further than delightful Delilah. This beautiful tuxedo girl was found and rescued by her foster mom. Delilah truly had it rough living in a gravel truck lot where she had a litter of kittens. She knew there was a better life out there so as part of a trap neuter return off she went to get fixed. Her rescuer knew Delilah was friendly and was prime to be a house kitty and made the decision to bring her home. What a surprise, Delilah made herself right at home as a house cat. She loves pets and is a lap cat for sure spending time in her fosters lap while working. Delilah doesn't let the ear tip take away from her charm and her personality shines through. She has lots of spunk and loves to play but she mostly relaxes enjoying the inside life. Delilah loves the highest perch in the cat tree which is best for one of her favorite pastimes, bird and squirrel watching. She loves her treats and comes running at snack time. Delilah gets along with other cats and ignores the dog. She is not exposed to children but her personality should be fine with older children who understand pet boundaries. Delilah is deserving of a happy forever home and will be the perfect fit for a lifetime companion.  She is spayed, current on all shots, FIV negative and microchipped.  To be considered for Delilah's forever home and to request and application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Delilah is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Mariyln was born on September 19, 2023. She is part of a close-knit family that includes her mother, Lily, and her sister, Edie. Marilyn is the smallest in the family and is very playful. While she hasn't been tested with kids or dogs, she is eager to meet new friends. This wonderful little family loves to play as well as enjoy leisurely lounging around on cat trees. Some of their favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. They adore kitty treats, brushing, and the catnip that their foster provides. They are truly affectionate and want to be adopted together, ideally with one of their siblings or their mom. With delicious food, playtime, and lots of pets and love, they warm up quickly. Marilyn is a particularly loving and sweet girl. She enjoys lounging on her foster mom's lap or sitting on the computer while she works from home, making her a regular office kitty. With her adorable button nose, it's hard not to fall in love with her! All members of the family are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped. To be considered for adoption and to request an application, please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net. An approved application and adoption fee are required. The family is currently located in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.   June 19, 2025, 4:52 pm
