Story
Obi is about 7-8 years old. Got him with his brother, Chewy, off of Facebook, someones cats had babies so they were selling/giving them away. He did break his one leg as a young cat so he now has 3 legs. He’ friendly, loving, loud, social, and a little sassy. Can’t really keep him or his brother as i’m relocating to a place that doesn’t allow pets.

Story
Nikko is an exceptionally handsome tabby boy with a big personality. He is a very friendly kitty who enjoys spending time with his people and seems to like dogs. Nikko thrives on being petted and is fine with being held. As with most kitties he enjoys playtime. Foil balls, catnip toys and the turbo scratcher are a few of his favorites. Nikko is a social boy who adjusts quickly to new people and places. Nikko tends to be a bit bossy with the other cats especially around meal time and lets them know by swatting at them. We feel he would be happiest as an only cat or with one other cat who will respect his space. We also feel he will do well with dogs with proper introduction. Nikko cannot wait to have a family to call his own! Nikko is about 2 years old, ( as of 3/1/25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Felv and positive FIV.

Story
Introducing Willow!❤️ This petite tabby girl with the over-the-back tail is Willow. We don't know much about what her life was like before being rescued, but we know that, even in loving foster homes, she started off as very scared and skittish. In her first foster home, her family couldn't get photos of her because she constantly hid and would run away if people approached her. Now in her second foster home, there have been some positive changes, but she will still be a challenge for an adoptive family.☺️ She is cute and playful, whether by herself or with other cats. She tries to be friends with other cats in her foster home, but doesn't have much confidence, even though the other cats set good examples of typical cat behavior. She lets her foster family pet her, and she seems to enjoy it; she keeps head-butting hands asking for more pets. However they still cannot pick her up so they continue to work on that. She has been coaxed daily for over a year to jump up on a lap and always looked interested but then ran away. Very recently, however, she jumped up on a lap for the first time. 😻 She finally seemed to understand that it is safe and comfortable. What a day to celebrate! 🙌🏽 There’s a video in the comments that shows her finally appreciating a lap. Otherwise, she is a typical, adorable little girl. She likes to watch birds and squirrels from a cat tree and plays with kickers that are bigger than she is. She carries around toy mice and races up and down stairs with the zoomies. She is looking for a home with experienced adopters who are willing to continue to work with her and help her build confidence. Her playful demeanor and adorable face will be a great reward for a new family. We think she would do well with another cat who is confident but laid back and not dominant. We do not recommend a home with small children, as Willow is still skittish and scared of movement toward her. Willow is about 1 year and 8 months old, spayed, up-to-date with vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Story
Vito is a handsome tabby boy looking for his own person to love. He can be shy side at first so he needs someone who will understand he may need time to adjust to his new home. Once he feels "safe," he is quite the lover boy, so your patience will pay off! Vito loves to be petted and is a bit of a talker. He is fine with being held for short periods of time. As with most kitties Vito enjoys playtime! Spring toys and wand toys are a few of his favorites. Vito gets along well with the other kitties in his foster home and would love to have a friendly resident cat to show him the the ropes. Vito is a good kitty just waiting for someone pick him...he would do best in a quieter home. Vito is about 1.5 years old (as of 10/25), neutered, up to date on yearly vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Story
Mabel is a sweet tabby girl. She was rescued along with her kittens from living the tough life outside. Her kittens have found their forever homes, Mabel is hoping she will be next. Mabel is a calm girl who is truly enjoying all the luxuries that come with indoor life. She gets along well with the other kitties in her foster home, but would be fine as an only cat as well. Mabel adjusts easily to new people and places. Mabel patiently hangs in the back ground waiting her turn for head rubs and treats. She enjoys playtime but will give up her toy if another kitty tries to play with her. Mabel can't wait for a family to cuddle and love. Her foster mom says she is just the sweetest. Mabel is about 1.5 years old( as of 10/15/25), spayed, up to date on Yearly vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Story
Meet Nala, a sweet girl and her five kittens were found by a good Samaritan and turned over to Critter Cavalry to foster and find great homes.  Life on the streets can be hard for a cat, especially a first time mother with five kittens.  She is a trooper and kept them safe, and healthy even after weaning them. The evidence of her struggles shows in a small scar on her nose.  Nala may have been living on the street but that did not affect her sweet disposition.  She definitely enjoys a good scratch behind the ear and is friendly with all humans she has been in contact with.  She is approximately 8-9 months old and currently weighs 7 pounds which is only 3 pounds more than her kittens.  She is learning all about 'the good life' and appreciating the fact that the food is coming regularly.   She is not quite a cuddler but has only been off the streets for a couple weeks.  Given time, she may grow to love the lap.  Nala is a beautiful cat with unusual markings and can we talk about those eyes!!!!  She has not been exposed to adult cats or dogs while in foster care but should adjust if given time. If you were interested in this beauty please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.   Please let us know where you live, city and state. We transport outside of Tennessee as well as adopting within our state where our fosters are being cared for Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 29, 2025, 1:22 pm
