Story
🌛 Meet Sir Sleepsalot- dreamer of all that is cat 🌛Sir Sleepsalot is a 4-year-old treasured, tempered tabby who enjoys spending his days... you guessed it.. napping! Whether its his cozy bed or a comfy couch, this gentle boy curls up for his dreams of endless catnip and delicious snackies. He also loves to lay on your lap or chest when you are lying down, happily catching some zZzZ's safely with his favorite person. Sir Sleepsalot has an IQ of around 160, understanding commands like come, treats, and sit (on his terms, even though he's a low key genius he is still a cat after all). When he isn't napping he enjoys playing with his wand toys and climbing high to observe his kingdom. He is shy at first but with some reassurance and his favorite treat, you earn his trust and he turns into a wonderful, lovable companion. Sir Sleepsalot is now accepting adoption applications, available below!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
