Howie is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt, which allows you to bring him home on a trial basis before finalizing. Foster-to-adopt is limited to Rhode Island residents due to state regulations.👨‍🍳 Meet Howie — an aspiring purrsonal chef in urgent need of a Foster-to-Adopt home! 👨‍🍳Howie’s current foster can no longer keep him, and this orange + white foodie needs a new kitchen to supervise ASAP 🧡2-year-old Howie has surveillance ears that can detect food from a mile away. If you’re cooking, he’s involved. If you’re eating, he’s definitely involved. He’s just trying to perfect his secret recipes, obviously.Aside from his culinary ambitions, Howie loves hanging in his cat condo, bird-watching, and diving into playtime with his favorite toys. He’s an outgoing, silly guy who thrives when his brain is busy, so think play sessions, food puzzles, and anything that keeps him engaged. Keep him entertained and you’ll see his best (and funniest) self.He’s also your classic “dog-like” cat. He’ll follow you from room to room, supervise your daily routine, and make sure nothing happens without his approval.Because Howie is a high-energy boy (orange cat energy is real), he’s needed a little extra support. He’s currently on gabapentin and will be starting kitty Prozac to help him settle and succeed long-term. 🐾 Meet Lothar! 🐾Lothar is a 2-year-old bundle of cuteness officially on the adoption scene! Lothar arrived to Ten Lives nervous and shy, working through trust issues and unsure of what to come. We've promised him nothing but love and lots of playtime, and he has been getting more confident by the day. Once he settles in, Lothar enjoys being pet and likes to play. He may spend some time in a cat tunnel or somewhere else that he feels safe in, but will gradually, but slowly, start to come out to explore. He would do best with someone that is patient and understanding that he might take time to build trust and warm up to them. Lothar loves to eat, it's probably his favorite past time, so he can be won over with treats, especially squeeze treats.
