Story
Every great story has characters who need a little extra time to reveal who they truly are—and Draco and Snape are two very special boys waiting for the right person to help them write their next chapter. Draco and Snape are a bonded pair who find comfort and confidence in each other. They are happiest when they have their trusted companion by their side and will need to be adopted together. Their friendship is an important part of their journey as they continue learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. Draco is the more confident of the two and will likely be the first to begin coming out of his shell. While he is still unsure around people, he has shown that he is curious and capable of making progress with time, patience, and consistency. Draco will need a cat-experienced adopter who understands that trust must be earned and who is willing to let him move at his own pace. Snape is the more timid of the pair and is still very much learning that people can be trusted. He hasn't had many interactions with us yet, so he will need a family who is prepared to give him plenty of time, patience, and space to adjust. Snape may take longer to feel comfortable, but with a calm environment and a supportive feline companion by his side, he has the opportunity to continue growing in confidence. These two boys are looking for an adult-only home with adopters who appreciate that the most rewarding relationships are built slowly. They aren't the cats who will immediately run up for attention, but for the person willing to give them the time they need, watching them learn, grow, and become comfortable will be incredibly special. If you’re ready to give Draco and Snape the patient, loving home they deserve, fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adoptor and email sclode@parl.org for more information.

Story
Daisy may have perfected the art of the grumpy face, but don't let her signature expression fool you—hidden beneath those adorable scowls is a playful girl just waiting for the right person to help her shine. Daisy is looking for an adult-only home where she can be the one and only pet. She's still learning that people can be trusted, so she'll need a patient adopter who will give her the time, space, and understanding she deserves. Building a relationship with Daisy won't happen overnight, but earning her trust will be incredibly rewarding. Want to win Daisy over? The answer is simple: soft treats, a cozy bed she can call her own, plenty of personal space, and her absolute favorite... laser pointers!*Once that laser comes out, her playful side can't help but make an appearance. If you're the kind of person who understands that the best relationships take time, Daisy just might be your perfect match. She may look grumpy, but we're convinced there's a sweet, silly girl in there just waiting for someone to believe in her. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours!
