While I may not be the kind of cat who wants to be a traditional house pet, I can still earn my keep by helping control rodents while enjoying a safe place to live. I came to Rockwall Adoption Center after my owners were no longer able to care for me. Now, I am looking for someone who can provide me with a secure place to call home, along with fresh food, clean water, shelter from the weather, and the time I need to settle into my new surroundings. Meet Dusty! Dusty is a handsome 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair looking for a new place to call home. This sweet boy was lovingly raised from birth after being born in his previous owner's home. Unfortunately, due to lease restrictions allowing only one pet, his family made the difficult decision to surrender him so he could find a home where he can continue to thrive. Dusty has lived as an indoor cat and is already house trained. He enjoys the comforts of home and is accustomed to roaming freely around the house as part of the family. Dusty does prefer to be the only pet in the home and have all the attention to himself. While his experience with children is unknown, Dusty is ready to meet a family willing to give him the love and stability he deserves.
