Dusty is an independent, outdoor-savvy cat who comes from a feral background and is best suited for a working-cat placement where they can live freely with minimal human interaction. Having spent their life outside and accustomed to caring for themselves, Dusty is not socialized to people and prefers to keep distance, though there is no known history of bites or scratches. Dusty will thrive in an environment such as a barn, stable, workshop, or rural property that can offer safe shelter, daily food and water, and the freedom to live on their own terms.
