Story
Snowflake is a very sweet cat that loves to snuggle up. We adopted Snowflake from the Human Society approximately 10 years ago, when he was a kitten. He loves attention and is well behaved, including with the cat litter. He gets along well with our giant breed dog and with any new adults. Unfortunately in the past few months he seems to have developed a sensitivity to our young children, resulting in sporadic attacks. He has scratched our youngest twice in the face recently and is increasingly aggressive in their presence. Snowflake's new home should not have any young children.

Story
Looking for a peaceful new home for our beloved Stella 🐾 Stella is a beautiful 10-year-old brown tabby with lots of personality. She is truly the queen of the house—confident, sassy, elegant, and loves to strut around like she owns the place (because she believes she does). She is an independent cat who prefers admiration over cuddling, and would do best with someone who appreciates a cat with boundaries and charm. Stella needs a calm, quiet home where she can be the only pet. She gets stressed by other animals, and that stress affects her litter box habits. She has been checked by the vet and is otherwise healthy. Her ideal home would be: • no other pets • quiet household • consistent routine • someone experienced with cats or patient with senior cats • indoor/outdoor home is preferred. This is a very hard decision being made out of love. We want Stella to have the peaceful next chapter she deserves. If you or someone you trust may be a good fit, please reach out

Story
Ava & Ori — Bonded Best Friends Looking for Their Forever Home Ava and Ori are a bonded pair who have been together since they were kittens and are looking for a loving home where they can stay together. We adopted Ava first, and when she was about 3 months old, we brought home Ori so she could have a feline companion. They quickly became inseparable and have spent their lives playing, cuddling, and keeping each other company. Ava is a sweet, affectionate girl with a classic cat personality. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she loves being close to her humans. She’s easygoing, independent, and isn’t afraid to let you know when she’s had enough attention. She enjoys lounging nearby and occasionally joins Ori for a playful wrestling match or game of chase. Ori is our “cat-dog.” She loves attention and will happily roll over for belly rubs—a rare trait for most cats! Curious and playful, she enjoys watching squirrels from the window

Meet Pumpkin 🧡🐾 Pumpkin is a 3-year-old neutered male cat looking for a loving new home. He is healthy, well-behaved, and has a sweet, playful personality that makes him a joy to be around. Pumpkin loves people and enjoys attention, whether he's playing with toys, lounging nearby, or curling up for some affection. He is great with kids of all ages, can be picked up easily, and has excellent house manners. He is litter box trained, not destructive, and is not prone to scratching, biting, hissing, or causing trouble. Raised alongside Colby, Pumpkin learned all the best cat behaviors and has grown into a friendly, easygoing companion. He is playful without being overly energetic and enjoys both activity and relaxation. Due to a family move and downsizing, we are looking for a loving home where Pumpkin can continue to thrive. There is no adoption fee—we simply want to find the right family for this wonderful boy. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate cat with a fun personality,

Story
Meet Colby 🐾 Colby is a handsome 6-year-old neutered male cat looking for a loving new home. He is in great health, exceptionally well-behaved, and has the calm, easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion. Colby is the definition of a gentle soul. He loves people, enjoys being picked up, happily sits in laps, and is great with children of all ages. He is playful when it's time to play but is mostly a relaxed, chill cat who enjoys spending time with his family. He's not overly vocal and has excellent manners around the house. No scratching, biting, hissing, or destructive behavior—just a sweet, affectionate cat who wants to be part of the family. One of Colby's most special qualities is his nurturing personality. He has always been the "big brother" and caretaker, often grooming and looking after other pets. He is incredibly patient, loving, and easy to care for. Due to a family move and downsizing, we are hoping to find Colby a new home.

Story
Scottie is a sweet and affectionate 3-year-old cat who was rescued as a kitten. He’s playful, curious, and full of personality. He loves chasing toys, exploring, and especially cuddling, he’ll happily sit on your lap and keep you company. Scottie is very friendly, loves people, and never misses a meal! Due to a human medical condition, we’re no longer able to give him the care he deserves. This has been a difficult decision, and we want to find him a loving, stable home where he’ll get plenty of attention and affection. Scottie would do best with someone who wants a loyal, playful, and cuddly companion. He’s ready to bring warmth, joy, and love into his new home.

Story
Meet Atticus – Our Gentle Gray Tuxedo ExplorerAtticus is a sweet gray tuxedo boy with a bit of a mysterious past. He arrived through one of our rescue partners, and while we’re still learning his quirks, one thing is already clear: he is a gentle soul with a lot of love to give.Atticus can be shy when you first meet him, but with a patient, understanding adopter, he blossoms into a confident, affectionate companion. He just needs someone willing to give him the time and space to settle in and show his true personality.Atticus is positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which means his adopter should be mindful of his health and provide regular veterinary care. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, healthy lives—and Atticus is no exception. He can even live with other friendly cats.Once he trusts you, Atticus becomes incredibly sweet. One of our volunteers shared:“Atticus at West Ox… lap cat extraordinaire and brave explorer of the cat room.”If you’ve got a soft spot for handsome gray tuxedo boys with tender hearts, come in and meet Atticus. He might just be your perfect match. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 14 day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period.
