Woozle is a charming, silly boy who has truly mastered the art of relaxation. He’s always ready for his next nap and can often be found stretched out in the warmest, sunniest spot he can find, soaking up the rays and dreaming the day away. When he’s not snoozing, Woozle’s goofy personality shines through and is sure to bring smiles to everyone around him. Introducing Columbia This sweet but shy girl, born around 4/1/2025, arrived at the shelter with her kittens in tow, after being found abandoned outside a home. Columbia has raised and launched her babies successfully, and is now starting to figure out that humans are actually pretty nice, and having regular meals and a safe place to sleep isn't the worst thing in the world. As you can see from her video, she is still stuck a bit in "flight mode" and hasn't taken the time to learn how to play, or how to relax on a person's lap. The good news is, she will let us pick her up and we can tell that, with the right person and some patience, she could learn how to let herself be loved. She's not a fan of dogs, and the energy levels and sounds of small children will probably always be on her least-favorite-things list. She does enjoy the company of other calm kitties. Introducing Dolly This beautiful shorthaired tabby/white girl is SO ready for a home of her own. Picture this. You're a young single mother of very active quintuplet toddlers, and someone shows up to say "look pretty and playful, you're on camera!" Now imagine what Dolly thought, and you'll understand her very inactive video. "Please. I am exhausted. I just want to sit here and be adored. Pet me, but for the love of Friskies, please do NOT ask me to exercise in any way, shape, or form. Oh, and WHEN. ARE. THEY. BEING . ADOPTED?!?! I need some rest. Please. I am begging you. Just let me nap for ONE SEC... oh no, they are pouncing on my tail again...." We do think Dolly, who is only about a year old, will be happy to play once the kittens have moved on to their new homes. But if you want to just offer her a warm and cozy, QUIET sunspot for the first week or two, she would worship you forever. Dolly hasn't yet been tested with other cats and dogs (really, 5 rambunctious kitten roomies are ENOUGH for right now), but we will be able to do so soon, as those kittens will be moving on out.
