You're a young single mother of very active quintuplet toddlers, and someone shows up to say "look pretty and playful, you're on camera!" Now imagine what Dolly thought, and you'll understand her very inactive video. "Please. I am exhausted. I just want to sit here and be adored. Woozle is a charming, silly boy who has truly mastered the art of relaxation. He’s always ready for his next nap and can often be found stretched out in the warmest, sunniest spot he can find, soaking up the rays and dreaming the day away. When he’s not snoozing, Woozle’s goofy personality shines through and is sure to bring smiles to everyone around him. Introducing Columbia This sweet but shy girl, born around 4/1/2025, arrived at the shelter with her kittens in tow, after being found abandoned outside a home. Columbia has raised and launched her babies successfully, and is now starting to figure out that humans are actually pretty nice, and having regular meals and a safe place to sleep isn't the worst thing in the world. As you can see from her video, she is still stuck a bit in "flight mode" and hasn't taken the time to learn how to play, or how to relax on a person's lap. The good news is, she will let us pick her up and we can tell that, with the right person and some patience, she could learn how to let herself be loved. She's not a fan of dogs, and the energy levels and sounds of small children will probably always be on her least-favorite-things list. She does enjoy the company of other calm kitties.
