Story
He’s a great and affectionate cat that is very expressive and loves sitting on your lap. He is very vocal about if he wants to be pet or not. Unfortunately my wife is allergic to him and it has only grown worse after my wife’s pregnancy. He loves to run around and he gets the zoomies all the time. We would love for someone that can take him into a home and he can be cared for.

Holly is a beautiful angel who loves cuddles and naps and snacks. If it weren't for my cancer diagnosis I would never let this baby go.

Story
Tegan is awesome. She’s six, very friendly, gregarious. She loves laps, pets, and the great outdoors. She was an indoor outdoor cat, her whole life, and she loves running around outside, attacking grass, and otherwise just being cute. She’s a little bit of a bully with her sister, and will swipe at her every now and then, but never anything ferocious. This is my most favorite cat I’ve ever had! I’m moving into an apartment, and can’t take her, and she needs an indoor outdoor space to be her happiest best self. Alita is a good kitty! She loves pets, and will come up and butt her head against you. Sometimes she will get in your lap, and she will just purr like crazy. She doesn’t like getting picked up as much, but she loves lounging around, and hanging out by your feet while you watch a movie. She’s very sweet! Like her sister, she’s very pretty, with a gorgeous tortoiseshell coat. She also misses getting to roam around the outdoors.

Story
MEOW! I'm FENNEC, a 2-year-old handsome tabby boy who needs a foster or forever home. I tested FIV-positive, which only means I need to be the only cat in your home. I've got a heart full of love to share. I'm a sweet, friendly fellow with a sprinkle of curiosity. I'm smart, too, figuring out things quicker than most. I'm also a cuddly snuggler who loves a good lap to curl up on. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all purrs and head rubs. I'm also independent, so I won't mind if you're busy sometimes. I'm a gentle soul, mellow and easy-going. I promise to bring a touch of tranquility to your life. Can you foster or adopt me?

Woozle is a charming, silly boy who has truly mastered the art of relaxation. He’s always ready for his next nap and can often be found stretched out in the warmest, sunniest spot he can find, soaking up the rays and dreaming the day away. When he’s not snoozing, Woozle’s goofy personality shines through and is sure to bring smiles to everyone around him. He’d love a home that appreciates a good balance of cozy downtime and lighthearted fun—and a few sunny windows would be the perfect bonus for this sweet, sleepy guy.

Story
***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 4/11/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement – part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Meet Emu, a sensitive and stunning almost 3 year old male cat currently searching for a quiet, patient home where he can decompress and feel safe. Emu was originally adopted from Forget Me Not after a long stay as a shy cat, and then found himself back in the shelter when his adopters could no longer care for him. Suffice it to say, Emu is NOT amused and would like to go HOME with you as soon as possible. As a shy guy, Emu prefers a low-key environment where he can initially find a warm and cozy spot to hide out while he adjusts to new surroundings. While he is not a typical lap cat, Emu appreciates affection on his own terms; he enjoys gentle pets but usually only for a short time before wishing to return to his peaceful solitude. He is truly a connoisseur of quiet companionship, allowing you to admire his natural beauty from a respectful distance rather than demanding constant attention. While Emu is timid, he has a definite soft spot for Churu treats, which are an excellent way to capture his attention and build trust, even if he prefers to keep his interactions brief. He isn't particularly interested in toys, preferring instead to spend his days lounging comfortably in a high-up, warm kitty condo or watching the world go by from a sunny window perch. He does fine with other cats, and would prefer a home with NO DOGS OR LOUD LITTLE HUMANS, please. If you have a calm, patient household and are looking for a gentle, low-maintenance companion who will eventually show you the rewarding love of a shy cat, Emu is ready to be your beautiful window-gazing buddy. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Emu is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Meet Ace, a charming and spirited boy, born 7/28/25, who is ready to find his forever kingdom. While he might start off a little shy with new faces, don’t let his initial modesty fool you; once he feels safe, he warms up quickly and reveals a personality that is absolutely worth the wait. Not fond of dogs, but he does get along with other cats and tiny humans; he is the definition of a "slow burn" friend who becomes your most loyal companion the moment the ice melts. Ace’s absolute favorite way to bond is through his belly — specifically with Churu treats. He is such a superfan of these creamy snacks that he’ll often try to chomp right on the tube to help you squeeze out every last drop! This quirky habit is a testament to his enthusiastic nature. When he’s not snacking, he’s a total athlete who loves to stalk and pounce on feather wand toys. He’s also quite the little model and will happily strike a pose for the camera, making him the perfect subject for your social media feeds. In the home, Ace is an explorer who loves to view his world from above. He is very selective about his perches, carefully choosing the highest spots to survey his surroundings with dignity and grace. If you are looking for a playful, climbing enthusiast who will melt your heart with his unique charm, Ace is the kitty for you. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Ace is a suggested minimum of $60 (more gratefully accepted).
