***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 7/11/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing the Country Singer Litter - an early 2026 litter of kittens, born about 4/22/26 and surrendered by their owner to our shelter. These five siblings are ready to find their forever homes and are dreaming of the day they get to become beloved family members, YAY! They are easy to tell apart: WAYLON- male, DMH dark tabby with white on paws, chin and sides of nose REBA- female, DMH dark tabby no white on paws PATSY - female, DSH tabby half nose white other half white WILLIE- male, DSH tabby white on face/dark spots on each side of nose MERLE- male, DSH tabby white spot on nose See which picture tugs at your heart while you try to decide if you want to bring one home... or two... or more! They are young enough that they should adapt fine to existing pets, with proper introductions. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $75 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
I'm looking for a new home for my sweet cat. I'm getting married this summer, and we won't be able to bring him to school with us in the fall. He is a very lovable cat and loves attention. He needs someone that he can sleep with and that will pet him after work (or be home with him). He is very well-behaved and great with kids and other animals. He is used to living with another cat and 4 dogs. He was declawed as a kitten and has never been outside so he needs to be indoors. He has urinary crystals and has to eat a specific kind of medicated food so that he won't get blocked up. I'm asking a small rehoming fee to make sure he goes to a good home. Please let me know if you are looking to add to your family or know someone who would be a good fit!

Story
My cat name ish PJ Catterson short for Pterodactyl James Catterson. He was re-homed to me back in February of last year and is about a year and a half old. He loves to fetch and cuddle and apparently open doors. I need to re-home him because my work schedule does not allow me to give him the necessary time and attention he needs.

I really don’t want to get rid of her but I’m having breathing problems so I can’t have the cat dander and hair around me anymore. I’m looking for someone who will give her a good home and the love she deserves if you do she will give you all the love and attention you can handle

Story
Woozle is a charming, silly boy who has truly mastered the art of relaxation. He’s always ready for his next nap and can often be found stretched out in the warmest, sunniest spot he can find, soaking up the rays and dreaming the day away. When he’s not snoozing, Woozle’s goofy personality shines through and is sure to bring smiles to everyone around him. He’d love a home that appreciates a good balance of cozy downtime and lighthearted fun—and a few sunny windows would be the perfect bonus for this sweet, sleepy guy.

***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 6/20/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing Franklin, he came to the shelter as a stray, but it is clear this handsome, buff-colored boy was born to be royalty. He absolutely LOVES humans and craves an endless amount of affection, but he is not a fan of other furry creatures. Because he wants to be the center of your universe, he needs to be the only pet in the home. Franklin, just over a year old, would do best with a castle all of his own, complete with dedicated human servants to feed him, groom his beautiful medium-length coat, and shower him with the non-stop love he deserves. In exchange for your loyal service, Franklin promises to be the ultimate companion. He is fully litter box trained, highly skilled as an indoor mouser, and takes his duties as a professional lap warmer very seriously. If you are looking for a devoted, loving sidekick to rule your heart and home, Franklin is ready to meet his subjects! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Franklin is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). ***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 5/30/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement – part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Meet Miss Kitty, a beautiful 1 year old girl who perfectly balances sweet affection with a classic, "good enough" kind of cattitude. She gets along with male cats only & definitely no dogs; she does like small children! She is a loving companion who genuinely enjoys being petted, though she always makes sure it is on her own terms. Miss Kitty is a spirited lady with a strong personality and a clear vision for her dream home: she would prefer to be the only female cat in the house, as she fully intends to rule her new kingdom with an iron fist—and plenty of cat toys, of course. The ideal environment for Miss Kitty is one with large, sun-drenched windows where she can keep a watchful eye on the local wildlife. She finds endless entertainment in tracking birds and squirrels from a distance, making her a top-tier "window watcher" and an expert at backyard surveillance. If you are looking for a beautiful, independent soul who knows exactly what she wants and offers plenty of personality in return, Miss Kitty is ready to take her place as the rightful queen of your heart and home. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Miss Kitty is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you!
