KAI IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    Meet Kai, or as he’s lovingly called Kaigaroo because he acts like he’s pure bred kangaroo and will hop around the yard as if he was one. He’s a sweetheart who loves cuddles and loves to follow you everywhere trying to be a little helper. He’s been working on his training and knows quite a few commands as well as being kennel trained. He’s a very good boy and has a big heart just waiting to hop into yours. He is good with kids and other dogs. He loves wrestling/ playing in the yard with his foster fur siblings. He is a year old Plott Hound Mix and 40lbs.  Kai is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $550 and that includes his transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Kai up north to his new family.    If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Kai here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Meet Guinness, a super handsome 10-month-old, 45 lb. plott hound/pittie mix with the most stunning brindle coat, precious smile, and dark brown eyes. He came to our rescue from Texas with his sister, Mimi, who was quickly adopted. The pair were saved from euthanasia with just hours left before taking the long journey to Connecticut. He has been with us since October and is anxiously waiting for a loving family of his very own! Guinness is always ready to be the life of the party, hence the name! His tail never stops wagging and he just adores his playtime, being with his people, lounging by the fire, and toys. Before Guinness came to us, he even enjoyed swimming in the fosters pool. Now that he has experienced snow, that's on the top of his favorite things too! Guinness is a total lap dog who loves to snuggle and give hugs and kisses. He's super playful and loves to run around and explore. He's a complete mush and ready to be anyone's BFF! Guinness is young and spent some time being cooped up in a shelter so he would benefit from basic training but is very treat motivated. He's a very trainable dog! He's currently in foster with another pup, whom he loves so having a playmate would make Guinness very happy. He can be jumpy so young children aren't recommended unless they're dog savvy. He must go to a home with a fenced yard and an adopter willing to be patient and guide him. His adoption fee is $450 and Guinness is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in this cutie, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
We have an amazing pup who truly is a super trouper and he's waiting for his chance to come up north and show everyone just how very special he is! If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Trooper please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Tonight the super trouper lights are gonna find me Shining like the sun Smiling, having fun Feeling like a number one Tonight the super trouper beams are gonna blind me But I won't feel blue 'Cause somewhere in the crowd there's you - from 'Super Trouper' by ABBA Trooper is 3 months old, and currently 18 lbs. He will likely be a big boy over 50 lbs when full grown. We believe he is a Plott Hound or Cur mix, either way a lovable, loyal Hound mix. He is working on house training and is already crate trained and leash trained. Trooper is a typical pup with energy who will run and play until he wears himself out. He is great with other dogs especially big ones, and he is fine with cats. He adores the grandkids who visit his foster home, but he may be a little to playful for tiny tots so older kids would be a better fit. Trooper had a very rough beginning to life. He and the rest of his family were abandoned and left to fend for themselves by eating out of garbage cans and scavenging for whatever food they could find. Trooper was really afraid of his rescuers for a couple of days until he understood he was safe. Now he has been well socialized and is very good with the people he meets. Trooper is great when traveling by car so going on adventures or road trips are just fine with him. He has a passion for lots of toys, stuffed ones are his favorite. This sweet boy loves to snuggle and give kisses. He is already neutered up to date on vaccinations, current on preventatives, and microchipped. His best and well-deserved life would be with a family who want a loving loyal affectionate boy and will be committed to giving him the daily exercise and playtime he will need so will continue to be the awesome super trouper he already is. If you're looking for this super Trooper, you'll find him shining like the sun, smiling, and having fun.

Story
We have a real treat of a pup waiting for her chance to come up north to find her happily ever after. As her name implies, Honey is as sweet a girl you'll ever meet. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Honey please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Honey Oh, sugar, sugar You are my candy girl And you got me wanting you I just can't believe The loveliness of loving you I just can't believe it's true I just can't believe The wonder of this feeling, too I just can't believe it's true - from 'Sugar Sugar' by The Archies Honey is a 10-month-old, we believe Plott hound /lab mix , weighing 55 lbs and likely at her full-grown weight. She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and quite the sweet social butterfly. She gets along great with other dogs and would make a great playmate for another playful dog. We do not know how she feels about cats so a meet and greet would be needed. She is energetic (medium-high) but not hyper. Playtime and a good walk will calm her puppy energy and of course give her the exercise she needs. She will still need some maintenance leash training as she will pull at times. She is very excited to meet people and will jump up so she may need a little more work in curbing her enthusiasm. Because of her size and bubbly personality, she would be a better fit with older children. This sweetie pie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and microchipped. Honey loves being around people and is a very loving and affectionate girl so she will need a home with humans who truly intend to make her a part of the family. This is the kind of pup who will sit in your lap all day if you let her and will see you as the most important thing in her life. If you think you are the one who can give Honey lots of love and sugar then she will definitely be your candy girl!

Henry Lee is a sweet boy who loves, human affection and of course food. He is a smart boy and likes to please his people. He does well on a leash and enjoys going on walks. He would love someone who will let him spend time outside soaking up the sun. He will pounce around and play for a bit but is pretty mellow and happy to be a couch potato. He enjoys snuggling. He enjoys hanging out with friends but would do fine as an only dog. He has nice house manners and also does not jump. Henry gets along with all female dogs and low energy submissive male dogs. Crate trained by saying "get in your house Henry". The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. With there being no local animal shelter, The couple took in over 40 dogs to keep them from starving on the streets. When the husband passed away and his wife fell ill, SNARR NE was asked to help out with the placement of the dogs. Sofie is an outgoing loving girl who will great you with a wagging tail ready to accept your love. She has amazing house manners and stays on all fours. She gets along with all dogs. When food is involved she will protect her bowl so if your have another dog she will need to be monitored or fed separately. She loves to snuggle up next to her people. She loves butt/head scratches, belly rubs... well actually, just touch her, feed her and you will win her heart. She is fearful of storms but is just fine once she is snuggled up next to you. Story
Meet Atlas. While his DNA is very rich in dog breeds (18 actually), his appearance is quite unique, with two breeds as the main standouts. His face and ear structure look mostly Pitbull, but his "glass eyes", height, thick body (about 65 lbs), and mottled coat are distinct characteristics of his distant Catahoula Leopard dog relatives. Atlas loves a good cuddle and is the best hugger. Although he can be a little stand-offish around strangers at first, he warms up quickly to people of all ages. He does well with children and with other dogs that do not have as dominant of a personality as his own. He loves hikes, exploring, runs/walks, chasing balls and frisbees, playing tug, and chewing on toys. He will dig from boredom if he is left alone outside for long periods of time without sufficient engagement. He knows a few commands but usually prefers to perform for treats. Atlas is an affectionate, active dog that needs an equally loving and active family to meet his emotional and physical needs.   If you would like to make this amazing guy part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Atlas is located in Alabama and available for transport. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.
