Story
Meet Dylan! A neutered male ~6 month old Catahoula mix weighing about 30 lbs. Dylan loves to play, eat and cuddle with you! He is crate and house trained. Dylan can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how he settles in before committing to adoption.
His foster said, "I love when my fosters enjoy going for car rides and are so relaxed! Nothing better than seeing them happy and enjoying the day! He is doing great with house and crate training! Dylan loves to play and cuddle!"
Dylan update:
Two weeks in, and I can’t even begin to express how wonderful this dog is! Dylan is SO smart! He’s learned sit, stay, come, and is almost there with down lol. He’ll even give you his paw when asked! I’m so impressed with him. Also we weighed him and he is 32lbs now
He LOVES playing with his toys, playing with Cody, and just relaxing while chewing on his chews. Dylan has been making great progress with some initial training, and I couldn’t be happier with where he is right now!
We went to Petco, and he absolutely loved it! He had people coming up to him with no problems, he was loving all the attention!
Whatever family ends up adopting Dylan is going to be one lucky family. He’s such a smart, sweet, and amazing dog, and I know he’s going to make someone very happy. Now we just need to find that special family who will give this boy the forever home he deserves!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
