Story
We have an amazing pup who truly is a super trouper and he's waiting for his chance to come up north and show everyone just how very special he is! If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Trooper please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Tonight the super trouper lights are gonna find me Shining like the sun Smiling, having fun Feeling like a number one Tonight the super trouper beams are gonna blind me But I won't feel blue 'Cause somewhere in the crowd there's you - from 'Super Trouper' by ABBA Trooper is 3 months old, and currently 18 lbs. He will likely be a big boy over 50 lbs when full grown. We believe he is a Plott Hound or Cur mix, either way a lovable, loyal Hound mix. He is working on house training and is already crate trained and leash trained. Trooper is a typical pup with energy who will run and play until he wears himself out. He is great with other dogs especially big ones, and he is fine with cats. He adores the grandkids who visit his foster home, but he may be a little to playful for tiny tots so older kids would be a better fit. Trooper had a very rough beginning to life. He and the rest of his family were abandoned and left to fend for themselves by eating out of garbage cans and scavenging for whatever food they could find. Trooper was really afraid of his rescuers for a couple of days until he understood he was safe. Now he has been well socialized and is very good with the people he meets. Trooper is great when traveling by car so going on adventures or road trips are just fine with him. He has a passion for lots of toys, stuffed ones are his favorite. This sweet boy loves to snuggle and give kisses. He is already neutered up to date on vaccinations, current on preventatives, and microchipped. His best and well-deserved life would be with a family who want a loving loyal affectionate boy and will be committed to giving him the daily exercise and playtime he will need so will continue to be the awesome super trouper he already is. If you're looking for this super Trooper, you'll find him shining like the sun, smiling, and having fun.

Story
We have a real treat of a pup waiting for her chance to come up north to find her happily ever after. As her name implies, Honey is as sweet a girl you'll ever meet. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Honey please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Honey Oh, sugar, sugar You are my candy girl And you got me wanting you I just can't believe The loveliness of loving you I just can't believe it's true I just can't believe The wonder of this feeling, too I just can't believe it's true - from 'Sugar Sugar' by The Archies Honey is a 10-month-old, we believe Plott hound /lab mix , weighing 55 lbs and likely at her full-grown weight. She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and quite the sweet social butterfly. She gets along great with other dogs and would make a great playmate for another playful dog. We do not know how she feels about cats so a meet and greet would be needed. She is energetic (medium-high) but not hyper. Playtime and a good walk will calm her puppy energy and of course give her the exercise she needs. She will still need some maintenance leash training as she will pull at times. She is very excited to meet people and will jump up so she may need a little more work in curbing her enthusiasm. Because of her size and bubbly personality, she would be a better fit with older children. This sweetie pie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and microchipped. Honey loves being around people and is a very loving and affectionate girl so she will need a home with humans who truly intend to make her a part of the family. This is the kind of pup who will sit in your lap all day if you let her and will see you as the most important thing in her life. If you think you are the one who can give Honey lots of love and sugar then she will definitely be your candy girl!

Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Welcome Zeus to CCPAL Foster Program. Zeus is a 18-month old 70 pound Plot Hound/Medium Terrier blend dog. He was abandonded by his owners when they moved and left him at the house they moved from. He was tied up to the porch. Good Samaritans spotted him and were feeding him and giving him water until they realized the owners weren’t coming back. Zeus is now in foster home waiting for his new forever home. He is great on a leash and not leash reactive. He is good in a crate and he likes car rides. He is attentive, smart and potty trained. He is overall a wonderful dog and is not food aggressive or reactive with his bowl. He would make a wonderful outdoor enthusiast a great companion. He would make a perfect man dog. He looks tough but he is not at all how he looks. He would make a great family dog if the man works out of the house. His looks would make the family feel secure even if he loves everyone. He is a lower shedding dog with a nice soft coat. He is healthy, vaccinated and neutered. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/11/24 Pepper #2 (because we have 2 Peppers in rescue right now). PLEASE SHARE! Hound mixes seem to always take awhile to get adopted, so the more shares, the better!! This handsome hound mix boy was rescued back in October. The finder agreed to foster him until he could be adopted. We got him neutered, UTD on vaccines, etc. Then a couple weeks later they asked to adopt him. Now they can't keep him due to landlord. We’ve found a foster for Pepper, but we’d love to see him go to his forever home soon!! Pepper is a sweet boy. He is about a year old. He is very affectionate and gets along well with other dogs. He is excellent with kids and has lived with a toddler who he loved. Pepper is shy, calm, and so laid back but also loves to play. He loves to snuggle too. He is working on potty training. He is neutered,UTD on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Not cat tested. Story
Meet the Quarterback litter: Tim Tebow, Geno Smith, Peyton Manning, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Matt Barkely!  Paws Rescue League saved these pups around the time of the Super Bowl, which is how they got their names. Their brother Josh has his DNA test done that came back as Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. These are medium sized dogs  Geno is a gentle sweet guy who is more cat like that hyper puppy like.  He loves to sunbath in the backyard by himself. He's got the cutest wrinkly face, that loves to give kisses.  He gets along with smaller dogs better than larger dogs, so he would prefer small friends like him. He's small compared to his brother Tim Tebow. He's currently 17 lbs.  He likes kids and would be fine with cats (but hasn't been cat tested)  Apply today to add Geno, one of the Quarterback pups,  to your family!  ##1987586##
