Story
Scout is a 3 year old plott hound mix, who we believe may have some basset hound in him as well.   Scout was found as a stray, the animla control officers who picked him up, caught him with a catch poll, and scared Scout. They dragged him into a kennel at animal control and it resulted in a couple of Scouts nails to tear off, and he begin to bleed from the injury. He was so scared at animal control with all the smell of fear from other dogs, and the barking, Scout hung his head low and hoped for an angel to save him from that place.  We saw this sweet boy, and got him out of the shelter, temperament tested with people and other dogs, and then got him to the vet where his injuries could be attended.     Scout went to a loving foster home, with other dogs and children and a doting forster mom and dad! We got him up to date on all his vet care, he has been neutered, heartworm tested. ( negative), he received all his annual vaccines, including rabies, and fecal testing which was clear. Scout is microchopped, and is now ready to find his FURever home!   Scout is a sweet, gentle soul of a doggo, he weighs about 42lbs, so he is. a medium sized dog. His foster parents say he is just the sweetest pooch, and they loved being able to foster him! Scout is housebroken, but may have accidents the first few days until he gets used to his new surroundings and new routine.  Scout is crate trained, but does not love the crate. Scout is good with other dogs of all sizes, and kids 8 years and up ( due to his medium size, he could knock a small child over unintentionally) ##1778132##

Story
Hi, I'm Baby Dog, and though I am not officially a "baby"... I can still be your baby! I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 70 lbs. I'm a super sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. I love all the peoples and the doggos. I am quite a big boy though so probably best I go to a home without the really small peoples because I don't want to be knocking little ones over. As with all hounds, my nose works really well and I am a smart boy, so I would love to be active and kept busy. Maybe even a nose work class, they sound like fun! Find out about me soon and let’s start the New Year off together! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Charlie is believed to be a plott hound/pit mix. Her dob is estimated to be 6/13/23. Charlie is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, chipped, on monthly prevention, and heartworm negative. Her color is brindle. Charlie had a very rough start. She was found abandoned at a gas station. She was just a tiny puppy all alone and dealing with a horrible flea infestion. The fleas were so bad she had significant hair loss with swelling and infections of her skin. A bit of medicine and TLC and Charlie now has a gorgeous brindle coat of fur and is ready to be someone’s best friend. 🐾 Meet our charming little girl!
