Contact Jen at Jmol3125@gmail.com with questions and interest.  Hey! I’m Rocky. I may be 9 years old, but don’t let my grey face fool you, I don’t act my age. I love to play fetch but my favorite thing would be to snuggle with you while you watch tv and get all the pets while you remind me how I am a good boy. I have these soulful eyes that will melt your heart. I would love a home with a big fenced in yard to run, maybe a teenager to play with and I guess a cat wouldn’t be so bad as long as they are dog savvy. I used to have my own kid and cats but unfortunately my dad passed away and I don’t have any family members I can live with because I really don’t want dog friends and they all have dogs. I don’t know many commands, but I know how to sit like a good boy. The trainer lady who met me said I should probably get some training so I can go on long walks with you and listen to everything you want me to know. I’m a big smoosh I hear, whatever that means. I would love to find a home soon as the shelters nearby don’t have space for me in their foster homes. Please share my story so I can find my best family.  All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. April 13, 2024, 9:25 am

Age: 12 weeks or less  Breed: Plott hound mix  Current size: 10 lbs   Potential size: medium , 60 lbs  Leash trained: not yet introduced to leashes  Crate trained: yes, she spend a few hours a day off and on throughout the day in the crate. Then sleeps in the crate at night from 10 pm - 6 am  Kids:Socialized with kids 8 and up  Other animals: Socialized with other puppies not related to her but same age, as well as additional dogs 1- 11 years old. Have not met cats, have seen chickens through the fence.  Energy level: High energy, plays hard and then settles in for a chew and then a nap. Repeat. Just like most puppies  About me: Reese was found all alone in someone’s yard, in a common dumping area. She was not claimed by an owner despite being posted everywhere. She came to me instead of the shelter where she is being socialized with my other dogs and getting the care she needs until a loving home is found.  She is very sweet and plays hard and naps even harder. ##2009679##
