💙 Meet Baby — A Sweet Boy Who Deserves to Be Home Again Somehow, Baby found himself alone and abandoned, dumped in a neighborhood a couple of towns away from what had once been his home. We may never know what happened or why he was left behind, but one thing is certain: Baby didn’t deserve to be discarded. At 6 years old and around 50 pounds, Baby is a wonderful, loving boy who is fully vetted and ready for the forever family he should have had all along. Baby is fully house trained, knows his basic commands, and can be trusted to have free roam of the house while his people are away. He is a genuinely sweet companion who loves being close to his humans. In fact, morning cuddles are non-negotiable in Baby’s world! He also loves spending time in the yard, where one of his favorite daily activities is rolling around and enjoying life. He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home and has shown no resource guarding in the house. We don't yet know how Baby feels about cats, so that would need to be carefully assessed with any potential feline siblings. After everything Baby has been through, he still has so much love to give. He is ready to leave his days of being unwanted behind and finally have someone who will look at him and say, “You’re home.” Baby isn't asking for much—just a safe place to belong, a soft spot to sleep, someone to share his morning cuddles with, and a family who will never give up on him. Describing 🧸Moose🧸as “a big teddy bear” is a compliment to teddy bears. In fact, we think it should get flipped around and start describing teddy bears as “just a small Moose.” 💯😆 He gravitates toward kids and is so very gentle with them. Same for grown-ups, but it’s just extra sweet how this big bouncy boy transforms around the smaller people 🥹🥹 Moose is a 6-year-old derpy, silly Plot Hound mix who weighs about 80 lbs. He’ll fit right in at absolutely any household and with any dog(s). He’s an adult dog, but he has puppy sensibilities and puppy-level happiness about everything. For everything positive, Moose takes it to 11/10. Dinner time becomes 🍔 d I n N e R t I m E 🍔 in Moose’s world. Going outside means 🎉 ooouuuuttttsiiiidddee 🎉to him. You get the idea. Because he’s actually an adult, though, he knows exactly how he is expected to behave and is very attentive to his people. So, when you use a command, he snaps to 🫡 🤴 These are just some of the commands he obeys: sit, shake, stay, down, roll over, fetch, drop it, kennel up. He is great on a leash as well 🧠. Do you have a fetch-loving home? (Did you know that was even a thing?) 🤣 That’s the kind of home that Moose will thrive in. Your throwing arm will be stronger and more toned than ever, if Moose has anything to say about it. He wants to tennis ball-max, but he loves all toys, and he doesn’t tear up his stuffies. He is house-trained and crate-trained and just so easy to live with. He should be in a cat-free home. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Meet Santos! This sweet boy started life as a sick sick puppy doomed with parvo alongside his sister, until we got them the lifesaving care they needed and they survived! Santos was adopted for a while but recently returned due to his adopters moving. He is great with all dogs, kids, and people. Santos is very gently, snuggly, and a big old lap dog. He loves to romp around with other dogs and would do best in a home with friends to play with. Santos is also great with cats! He is truly a wonderful boy who will make any lucky family happy for life.

Weezy is a 3 year old fawn colored Catahoula mix with four cute white mittens and a curled tail. She is affectionate with a quiet gentleness. When Weezy puts her head in your hand and looks into your eyes, all your cares melt away. Weezy was a stray.wandering the streets in St. Joseph Missouri. When rescued by TARA, The Animal Rescue Alliance, she was very thin and afraid of humans. She had been mistreated and lived rough on the streets. But we saw her sweet soul in her eyes. Weezy quickly adapted to her safe new home in a loft in downtown Kansas City. Her trust grew for her foster human and foster brother, Cai, a boisterous Welsh Cardigan Corgi. She greets the neighbors in the building and on the street with perfect manners. Weezy enjoys going on walks with and without her foster brother. City noises and the occasional squirrel do not faze her. She greets dogs politely and goes on her way. Weezy enjoys car rides and walks to local coffee shops where she sits at the foster’s feet, people-watching! If you want a gentle and devoted friend for life, Weezy is your lady. She lives for her peeps and her home. With her perfect manners and gentle soul, Weezy is a companion par excellence. Weezy has a heart overflowing with gentle kindness to all.
