Story
Happy December! This month we are featuring as many of our adoptable dogs as we can to hopefully get them home for the holidays 🎄 Kit Kat is a a 8-9 month old Plott Hound mix. He’s one of our longest standing residents and super sad that he hasn’t found his own family yet. He loves people of all ages. He is great with other dogs and cats. He was part of a large litter and came in with several other hound litters and the competition meant that somebody had to be the last one standing. 😞 KitKat is a dog who just loves to lean into you when you stand, will lay by your feet while you’re at your desk and will have his head in your lap when you’re on the couch. Please come through for him for Christmas! KitKat is neutered, heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is micro chipped and has had flea and tick prevention. You can apply anytime on our website www.lonelypawsadoptions.org! If you would like to send something special to KitKat, you can shop our Amazon Wish List https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/37A4XL8JL2YCY?ref_=wl_share&tag=riatrotter-20 You can also make a monetary donation for him through our website, just make a note it’s for him! https://www.lonelypawsadoptions.org/page5.html If you can’t donate right now, please consider using the Rakuten app this holiday season with our link. Even if you use it only one time, you get a $30 cash back reward and they will donate $30 to us too! www.rakuten.com/r/RIATRO5?eeid=44749 Sharing Kit Kat’s post helps get him seen so please considering doing that too!

Story
Princess here! I am about 2 years old and 50ish lbs. I am a Terrier/Plott Hound mix but don't worry - I am not vocal like you would imagine a hound is. I am great with other dogs, I play appropriately and I also hop! ha! I am housebroken and can be crated as needed when you leave. I chew appropriate things - toys! I loves kids too. I probably should not be around cats... they might be just a little too enticing for her! I would thrive with a family with a fenced in yard but I would also love to go on leash adventures. A doggy playmate would be cool too but not required. Everyday is my best day. I am just a happy and grateful girl! Here is the link to the application for me! https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-process-application/

Story
Rambo is one of 7 siblings who were found with their mom, malnourished, roaming the streets. They were brought them to the shelter where they got the food and nourishment they needed. Now they have a chance at adoption. Rambo is brindle beauty!!! What makes him so special is that he is also so loving and soft teddy bear who wants to just snuggle with you. He is listed as urgent since he is currently being fostered in NYC and not doing well in the city environment. He walks well on a leash in quiet areas, but terrified of traffic, the sound of car horns, and crowded areas. So, he needs to be adopted in a suburban setting with minimal street traffic. Rambo is crate and leash trained and doing well on his house breaking training. He gets along well with all the dogs big and small and loves playing with them. He would do best in a home with another confident friendly dog who he can play with and learn from, this will help him build his confidence. He is good with cats and won’t chase them. Rambo is also good with older children who are who are clam and gentle with him. He is up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving to the US. Rambo has stunning good looks with a gentle and sweet nature, and he learns quickly with a kind word and some treats. He is ready to be your best friend! This pup is being fostered in Manhattan, NY. Interested in this sweet love bug? Please email us at RescueWithoutBorders@gmail.com and we will happily get back to you.

If you are looking for the perfect balance between playful and cuddly, Eden is your girl! Eden is currently being fostered in Staten Island, New York and her adoption fee is $500. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Foxy is a year old beautiful Plott Hound who is incredible friendly, affectionate, smart, and playful. A funny gal, she loves to spend time with humans and feline friends. However, she would be best suited as an only dog in the household. Foxy was surrendered by her owner due to no fault of her own. She was kept in a kennel for most of her adopted life, and is now living in a pet hotel, so she is not getting quite the amount of love and affection she deserves. Ms. Foxy is completely crate trained, house trained, and up to date on her vaccines. Additionally, she is completely neutered. Currently located in New Jersey, she is excited and eager to meet her new family and live in a home where she is free to roam!
