This precious soul named MEME found herself on her last day at a rural TN shelter several months back. A foster stepped up to save her life and the time has come for Meme to find her own family. The foster mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness and cannot physically take care of Meme now. We are in a race against time to find Meme a loving new home. Meme is approximately 3.5 years old, fully vetted and spayed. She is full of life and love and adores people of all ages. She has been around children and other dogs and has done fine in any pack so far. Meme would make a wonderful companion and family dog. 🚨 HEARTBREAKING & URGENT – MARY SUE NEEDS A MIRACLE 🚨 Mary Sue is a brindle and white Lab / Plott Hound mix who was dumped at the shelter as a stray with her sister, Lilla Dean, after what appears to be one of the cruelest situations imaginable. Mary Sue is terrified. She shakes when separated from her sister and was so scared that staff had to carry her through the shelter. Despite her fear, she is gentle, sweet, and allows quiet affection, leaning into kindness when it’s offered. 💔 Mary Sue came in with mammary development, but no puppies were found. It is believed her puppies were taken from her before she and her sister were dumped, leaving her confused, grieving, and broken-hearted. This poor mama did nothing wrong. She is not aggressive.
