This handsome boy is content in life, whether just laying back on the couch or going out on a long hike he'll always be there to enjoy life with you, comfort in your presence, and love you unconditionally, in exchange for some scritches. Camo is not vocal. He has never barked. You'll only ever hear him softly whining when he wants to meet a dog across the street, or when he yawns good morning to you while giving you a big stretch. Camo is extremely well-behaved and well-trained both indoors and outdoors. Loves sunbathing, you will always find him sleeping where the sun is. He is very quiet but attentive, especially to his main human. Not fussy in any aspect, whether food, treats, toys, or the places he sleeps, he just wants love, head scratches, and butt pats. Very obedient and patient. Extremely food/treat motivated. Easily trainable. Will wait for permission on entryways & stairs. Trained to be easily groomed and cleaned. Loves to nap all day and sleeps through the night.

Her name is Arizona.  She’s an 10-month-old mix of Plott Hound mix.   We expect her mature wieght to be about 40 lbs..  Her coat of gray/brindle and white is soft and sleek, really quite lovely, and a joy to stroke. A frightened girl when she came into rescue, she’s now only wary of strangers, but relaxes around them quickly. She’s a girl who definitely needs a companion, a dog she can play with and share toys with. She loves other dogs so much!  It’s when she’s with other dogs that she comes alive, and you can see her happiness in every move she makes! A nice, fenced yard is another necessity for her; after all, how will she get to race around with another dog if she doesn’t have a yard. Oh, and she seems fine with cats, too.  Arizona is crate tyrained and housetrained. Would benefit from some leash training. Our veterinary partner estimates that Amelia is 3 years old at the time of intake in December 2020.  Amelia is good with people and other dogs and cats.  This beautiful brindle girl was dumped at a kill shelter in an advanced stage of pregnancy.  Amelia tried so hard to avoid delivering her puppies in the risky atmosphere of a kill shelter, but with nowhere to go, she had no choice.  Fortunately, we got Amelia and her puppies out of there as soon as we discovered them and before any harm came to them.  The puppies are now living a life of luxury in their forever homes.  Amelia is an empty nester and looking for her happy home.  Amelia is not only gorgeous but an incredibly sweet pup she is great with kids, other respectful dogs and even likes cats.  She is the total package. Callie’s old owner was going to leave her tied up at a park because she had tested positive for heartworm, but the owner didn't want to treat her for this curable condition. A kind person told the owner that she would take Callie in and get her the treatment she needs to get her the home she deserves. Callie is a 2-year-old mixed breed who is up to date on vaccines, has been spayed and is on preventatives. This sweet girl does well around dogs and cats. She loves to play and be around everyone!
