Dog friendly and people friendly. Can be timid at first with men but overall not aggressive and eventually warms up quickly. He Hasn’t been tested with other animals besides dogs yet. Walks well on a leash. Housebroken. Has had some basic training but could use some more consistency. Quick learner and eager to please his human! He is an active pup Looking for a family who will exercise him or has a yard for him to play in. He would love a home with another dog, but not totally necessary! He has a lot of love to give and can’t wait to settle into a family that will love him and give him the life he deserves!   Wade, Weston and Warren are 15-week-old mixes of Plott Hound and Lab! They were found in the woods and a Good Samaritan rescued them and took them to safety. They weigh 9-14 puppy pounds now and should mature to around 45 pounds. These boys are so cuddly and so loving! They love being around people and other dogs, and even do well with cats! Wade wears a short red/brown and white coat while Weston and Warren wear short brown and white coats with a brindle pattern! These pups have great temperaments and are ready to be in their family’s arms! Won’t you adopt one of these precious babies? Happy December! This month we are featuring as many of our adoptable dogs as we can to hopefully get them home for the holidays 🎄 Kit Kat is a a 8-9 month old Plott Hound mix. He’s one of our longest standing residents and super sad that he hasn’t found his own family yet. He loves people of all ages. He is great with other dogs and cats. He was part of a large litter and came in with several other hound litters and the competition meant that somebody had to be the last one standing. 😞 KitKat is a dog who just loves to lean into you when you stand, will lay by your feet while you’re at your desk and will have his head in your lap when you’re on the couch. Story

Tom and Jerry were found with their mom and 3 siblings in an abandoned, burned-down house where they were likely dropped off. The family was rescued by some amazing individuals in WV and Tom and Jerry made their way up to PA to find their forever homes. We estimate that theyre around 11-12 weeks and Tom (grey) is the larger of the two puppies, weighing about 16lbs. Their mom is a plot hound and we dont know anything about their father. Based on their appearance, were guessing that the father may have been a lab or pitbull but a DNA test will be interesting. Tom and Jerry are going to win you over with their sweet and friendly personality. They get excited to see people and their little tails wag back and forth. If you sit on the floor, theyll crawl into your lap to cuddle. They love toys and chewing on bones and taking frequent naps during the day. Tom has a beautiful silver coat with green eyes and the cutest ears. Jerry has a copper-colored coat with touches of black with lots of wrinkles on his forehead. They currently live with kids, cats, and other dogs and get along great with everyone. They are doing great with house training and will need a family to continue working with them. Tom and Jerry are working on mastering sit they are food motivated which makes training easy. They are being fostered in eastern, PA and any interested families must be willing to drive to meet them in person. Please note that Tom and Jerry will not be adopted together.
