She is friendly and gentle. She will need time to adjust to new expectations. She has never been in a house. She has only lived in a kennel, instead of doing the hunting she would rather run in the woods and play, so she needs to be a pet. She is sweet but timid and would love to have a family to love and play with. We do transport with Rescue Riders Pet Transport. One of the most animal friendly transports on the road. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Chet is a handsome boy who is looking for a new home. Chet is in a foster home in New Jersey. Chet was found as a stray and no one came to claim this handsome fella. He is a calm boy who is very friendly and easy to love. Chet walks nicely on the leash and has very good manners. He loves bones, belly rubs and playing chase and tug. He is very good with other dogs but he does need to be fed separately. Chet was cat tested and did well but in NJ, not so much so we no longer want to consider him for a home with cats. He loves to play with toys and is quite cuddly with adults. An adult only home will be best. Chet is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
