Callie’s old owner was going to leave her tied up at a park because she had tested positive for heartworm, but the owner didn't want to treat her for this curable condition. A kind person told the owner that she would take Callie in and get her the treatment she needs to get her the home she deserves. Callie is a 2-year-old mixed breed who is up to date on vaccines, has been spayed and is on preventatives. This sweet girl does well around dogs and cats. She loves to play and be around everyone! Handsome and elegant, that's how they describe Stanley who was found as a stray with an old eye injury that doesn't slow him down. He is very well-trained and completed a board & train program. Stanley's professional training comes with lifetime follow-ups if needed. Stanley loves going for rides in the car if you'd like company. This boy would do best with an owner that will provide him with the structure to which he has become accustomed.  He loves the outdoors and is excellent on a leash. He would be a great dog to take on your outdoor adventures and he especially loves to go on long hikes! When it comes to other dogs, he seems to prefer female over male dogs. He does get along with cats though. Stanley is 5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is ready to move in if you'll have him! GENTLE GIANT ALERT!!   Lucky is about 1 year old and 72 lbs. This guy is sweet, happy, playful and a lot of fun, good with other dogs and children and enjoys swimming. When you give Lucky attention he melts. He is extremly lovable.  From his foster mom: He is very puppy like in many ways.  We have yet to hear a bark from Lucky.  Surely he has one but he’s not sharing it if he does. He is great in his crate.  Doesn’t seem to mind it.  He has been sleeping on the dog bed on the floor next to our bed. He does try to get on the bed and would probably prefer to be on it with us. He loves the water including a sprinkler head.   I think Lucky would do well as an only dog IF the owner was active and gives him plenty of exercise. I also think Lucky would benefit from having another dog to teach him some manners as h e plays rough. We've been work on his recall. Sweet Tiger Lilly was abandoned. We had to gain her trust to catch her. She completely blossomed once she knew she was safe. She is a happy bouncy girl! She would make a great agility pup! She loves other dogs and doesn't mind cats at all. She loves to have friends to play with! She is also child friendly. Housebroken Crate trained and looking for her furever family! We are a southern rescue that sends many of our dogs to wonderful families in our Northern network. We use a transport company that brings the babies up which is included in the adoption fee.

Meet Piper. This sweet girl is looking for a new home. Piper loves kids! She also loves belly rubs and going for walks. Piper is a tad shy at first but, warms up quickly and becomes very affectionate. She also gets along with other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Piper ios about 9 months old and 37 pounds. Please help Piper find her forever home. Update: Piper tested positive for Lyme's. She is on a course of oral antibiotic which will be sent home with her new family for completion. Piper is still currently available for adoption. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
