Story
*Name: Henry Lee (Trinity) *Age: approx 6.5 years old *Current Weight: 140 lbs  *Rescued from: Texas (currently located with foster in Texas, transport will be scheduled once adopted.) *Adoption fee: $375 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) *Health: up to date on vaccines, and microchipped *Adoption requirements: adopter must be 25 or older Meet Henry Lee!! Henry Lee is a sweet boy who loves, human affection and of course food. He is a smart boy and likes to please his people. He does well on a leash and enjoys going on walks. He would love someone who will let him spend time outside soaking up the sun. He will pounce around and play for a bit but is pretty mellow and happy to be a couch potato. He enjoys snuggling. He enjoys hanging out with friends but would do fine as an only dog. He has nice house manners and also does not jump. Henry gets along with all female dogs and low energy submissive male dogs. Crate trained by saying "get in your house Henry". This sweet boy would love nothing more than a furever home, could that be you?? IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application. ##1151767##

With there being no local animal shelter, The couple took in over 40 dogs to keep them from starving on the streets. When the husband passed away and his wife fell ill, SNARR NE was asked to help out with the placement of the dogs. Sofie is an outgoing loving girl who will great you with a wagging tail ready to accept your love. She has amazing house manners and stays on all fours. She gets along with all dogs. When food is involved she will protect her bowl so if your have another dog she will need to be monitored or fed separately. She loves to snuggle up next to her people. Sofie would do fine in a house with calm kids. She would do fine with friends or as your only companion. She is eager to please you so is willing to try new things. She loves butt/head scratches, belly rubs... well actually, just touch her, feed her and you will win her heart. She is fearful of storms but is just fine once she is snuggled up next to you. She will alert you when a stranger is in your yard. She is a very happy go lucky girl who goes with the flow. With there being no local animal shelter, The couple took in over 40 dogs to keep them from starving on the streets. When the husband passed away and his wife fell ill, SNARR NE was asked to help out with the placement of the dogs. Rosie is a 60lb drama free, sensitive girl. She is very sweet and a little timid at first. Rosie does not often need correction but if you do, expect for her feelings to be hurt for a few days. She truly needs someone she can just snuggle up with and get attention from. She does have flea allergies but is being treated and well on her way to a full beautiful coat. She is pretty low energy and is happy to lounge around right next to you. Rosie is crate trained. She has a calm gentle demeanor so a home with children 10 or older would be ideal. She gets along with all other dogs but a high energy or assertive dog are not the best fit as she gets intimidated by them. Limited/supervised exposure to cats but did well. Rosie would love a fully fenced in yard as she is still uncomfortable/uncertain about the leash. Hercules is a 65 lb ball of absolute mush. He thinks he belongs in your lap and is happy to accept ALL of the affection you are willing to give him. He is a spirited boy who thrives with attention and interactive play. He loves to play fetch. Hercules would do best with a secure fully fenced in yard to give him the space to roam around and sunbathe. He loves attention from all humans but is partial to lady K-9 companions. He does well on a leash. He is crate trained but gets bored if he is in there for long periods of time, luckily he does well free roaming and is not destructive so a crate isn't really necessary. If you enjoy spending time outdoors playing with your pal and snuggling inside then Hercules is the guy for you!!
