We know Elton's loving family is out there!  He has been patiently waiting at the DASH Prison Training Program.  He has been with us for over a year and deserves his furever home! He you are looking for an active, fun-loving pup, he is the one. Elton is a young, energetic guy who lives for playtime! Toss him a ball and you’ll instantly become best friends. He’s a graduate of the DASH Prison Training Program, where he learned basic commands and continues to work on his manners. He’s housebroken, social, and gets along well with other dogs and people. However, because he can get rough, small dogs are not recommended. While Elton doesn’t like to share his food or toys, he’s full of affection and thrives when given structure and activity. He hasn’t been tested with kids or cats yet, so proper introductions are important. Elton has a ton of energy to burn and can get jumpy when excited , but with regular exercise and continued training, he’ll be an amazing companion for an active household. Because Elton is a vocal pup, apartment or condo life wouldn’t be ideal. He also enjoys “talking” to passing cars, so a secure, tall fence is a must, this adventurous boy is a climber! If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun companion who’s always up for a good time, Elton could be your perfect match. Momtisserie has been quietly stealing hearts at the shelter since November 14th, 2025—and she’s more than ready for one to finally take her home. At around 1–1½ years old, she’s in that magical in-between stage: young enough to be playful and joyful, but mature enough to be learning her manners and settling into herself. She’s house trained, eager to connect, and loves the people she trusts with her whole heart. Momtisserie does best with older kids who can read her cues and share in her excitement for life. She’d love a home where she can stretch her legs, feel the grass under her paws. With a family willing to keep building on her training and enrichment, Momtisserie has all the makings of a deeply loyal, loving companion—one who’s just waiting for someone to choose her.

Meet Patty Melt! Patty Melt is about 7 years old and a 50 pound female Catahoula mix. She is blind but learns to navigate her surroundings very well. Patty Melt loves her people. She can be slow to warm up to strangers and needs a good sniff first, but once you’re approved she’s all love and belly rubs. She is content to hang out all day and sleep, snore, and play with toys. She happily sleeps in her crate, and does not cause any trouble left alone in the house out of the crate. Patty Melt is currently being fostered in Columbus, Ohio. She would do best in a home without young children or fur siblings. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions.
