We know Elton's loving family is out there!  He has been patiently waiting at the DASH Prison Training Program.  He has been with us for over a year and deserves his furever home! He you are looking for an active, fun-loving pup, he is the one. Elton is a young, energetic guy who lives for playtime! Toss him a ball and you’ll instantly become best friends. He’s a graduate of the DASH Prison Training Program, where he learned basic commands and continues to work on his manners. He’s housebroken, social, and gets along well with other dogs and people. However, because he can get rough, small dogs are not recommended. While Elton doesn’t like to share his food or toys, he’s full of affection and thrives when given structure and activity. He hasn’t been tested with kids or cats yet, so proper introductions are important. Elton has a ton of energy to burn and can get jumpy when excited , but with regular exercise and continued training, he’ll be an amazing companion for an active household. Because Elton is a vocal pup, apartment or condo life wouldn’t be ideal. He also enjoys “talking” to passing cars, so a secure, tall fence is a must, this adventurous boy is a climber! If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun companion who’s always up for a good time, Elton could be your perfect match. Hi, I’m Burrito! I'm a mixed breed dog who loves to go for walks and play tug-of-war! I came to the shelter in August of 2024. I love to smile and greet the caregivers when they come to pet me and am very gentle taking treats, I also do good for my baths. I am very friendly with other dogs of all sizes, and am especially fond of the puppies, but I don't really like cats.

Meet General Tso! General Tso is a fluffy bundle of fun with medium to long hair and a personality that keeps everyone entertained. Her foster describes her as panda-like, with an adorable lack of coordination and a habit of exploring absolutely everything. She is incredibly curious, super cute, and always ready for the next adventure. She is very affectionate and loves seeking out her humans whenever she needs comfort or reassurance. When it is time to rest, she is usually the first one to curl up in a lap or sit at your feet. She also enjoys following her foster around, especially when cleaning is involved, and she loves to "help" by investigating paper towels or checking out what is happening. General Tso has a high energy level and loves to play. She is still learning that mouthing is not the best way to show love, but she is eager to grow and responds to guidance over time. Her playful personality is matched by good potty instincts. She regularly seeks out the pee pad and often waits to go outside for number two. If you are looking for a curious, loving, and playful companion who will bring laughter and affection into your life, General Tso might be the perfect match.

Meet Tenders! Tenders is a wonderfully sweet puppy with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Her foster says she is sometimes perfectly content sitting back and quietly observing the fun, and other times she is confidently jumping in and showing her littermates how it is done. She has a personality that balances softness with strength, and she truly shines in both. Tenders is very sweet and loves to be near her people. She is not necessarily a lap dog, but she enjoys sitting at your feet with her head resting on your shoe or the leg of your chair, just to stay close. She has a Labrador-like personality, playful, inquisitive, and eager to learn. She responds beautifully to gentle verbal corrections, usually needing nothing more than a simple no. She is also very calm for a puppy, able to quietly play by herself if she wakes before her siblings. Her potty habits are excellent. She always uses her pee pad indoors and will sometimes signal when she needs to go outside to poop.
